Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating the liaison with abroad subsidiaries, in respect of all Finance and tax subjects, including budget, actual numbers, transfer prices (APA, Intercompany agreements), intercompany sales and adjustments in consolidation, taxes (international taxation, double taxation),
Internal treatment of consolidations as there are three levels of consolidation plus with international subsidiaries.
Actively participating in the Budget process (three budgets, 2014, 2015, 2016), including forecasting.
Control of Fx revaluation considering four currencies (sterling and three more) in use by the group.
Control of Inter-company trading loans, but also loan notes.
Monthly conducting Management Accounts pack and responsible for presenting the information.
Responsible for all tax subjects in the group including liaison with Deloitte.
Responsible for treasury control, including daily dashboard in five currencies (including GBP).

Achievements:
Creating and developing an entrepreneurship project with partners/Definition, implementation and follow-up of global reporting model and procedures manual for some clients/Effective support upon the internationalization of two clients (one to Spain, one to Algeria)/Effective support upon Start-Up projects, organization, procedures, funding, including the preparation to apply for public subsidies.
Responsibilities:
Finance manager of the company, finance manager of some clients (in construction, engineering, architectural services, healthcare services, real estate, conglomerates), consultant in management, responsible and coordinator for economic studies, implementation of reporting models for companies, including ratios, balanced score cards and other management instruments, tax advisory.
Implementation of some reporting models for accountancy, cost accountancy, P&L, ratios.
Organization of the internal procedures related with documents, payment rules, how to invoice, collecting debts.
Negotiation with banks.
Responsible for the Finance Department in clients in the areas of construction, engineering, healthcare services, real estate.

Coordination of the financial managers of Audi and Volkswagen brands.
A conglomerate of enterprises and sub-holdings (this group has acquired some important companies in Portugal, such as Simao e Companhia (owner of the oil trade mark Andorinha, well-known in Brazil), Electroliber (a big company dedicated to distributing magazines and newspapers), Metalsines (connected with the railway industry).
Achievements: a start-up company (Treasury Shared services company), it was of first demand to centralize the treasuries of all the companies owned to the Group. The tough work to be done was to convince the different managers of the other companies that this company would create such a value for the group that was worth the short-term disadvantages.
Responsibilities:
December 2000 - August 2001: General Director of a Treasury Shared Services Company (named GestAdvance)
• Definition of the internal treasury procedures, which included some customization in terms of each business specification (procedures defined per business or sector and not per company.
• Presentation of treasury budgeting for each of the companies with their treasury managed inside the shared services company.
• Negotiation with banks so to achieve a united price of debt for the whole group (spreads, commissions for some banking services provided, such as salary payments, cards, reverse factoring, factoring).
• Execution of payments accordingly and within a signature of a manager of the top-holding.
• Centralization of the different treasuries from different companies inside the group.
December 1998 - January 2001: Financial Responsible of sub-holding that owned the businesses related with railways industry (named NetIncome)
• Collecting financial and economic information related with the sub-holding and the companies owned by the holding (three), and accompaniment of the results.
• Definition of the internal procedures related with factoring financing (how to control which clients invoices were paid to the bank, which directly to the company, which payments in advance).

Achievements: as Risk Analyst and Controller, the implementation of a simple effective credit risk analysis model in a trimestral basis. As Commercial Coordinator, more than 100% of Commercial Efficacy in a model that, with different weights, intended to measure the volume in number and in money for some key bank variables, such as credit cards placed among clients, personal/enterprise credit granted, credit in default, bank-insurance products, bank applications in funds, raised bank deposits, improvement in rates of retaining clients.
