Responsible for overall scheduling, planning, management & monitoring of the courses and workshops within the organization and with other universities
Responsible for managing and monitoring e-Learning components using Course Management Systems such as MOODLE & AKUMed. Monitoring Virtual Library and Library of Images as a Learning Resource for the University.
Manage departmental website and courses websites including timely uploading of information on AKU website (announcements of courses, online registration page, brochures etc.) updates. Manage Course / Learning Management System, Virtual Library and other databases.
Manage and responsible for the Library of Images as a Learning Resource of University students and Faculty.
Provide training and assistance to the faculties in e-Learning issues
Coordination with Human Resource department in preparation of job description of faculties and staffs, conduct interviews of staffs in our department. Arranging interviews of faculties with other departmental chairs and Dean, Medical College.
Responsible for maintaining attendance & leaves record of the department as a Time Administrator
Development and Training of new staffs & volunteers
Examination
Directly report to the Associate Dean, Department for Educational Development in supervising /administering all functions of the Examination Cell. Ensure that all safety and security measures are taken care off to produce an error free examination system
Overall responsible for any issues regarding the confidentiality, safety and security of the Examination Cell.
Responsible for compilation of the final results sheet
Presentation of final results to the committees
Represent the Department in the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Induction / Annual Exam committees to assist entrance / End of Year Exams
Coordinate with exam coordinators and faculty members for review of the questions in the light of Item Analysis and Difficulty Discrimination Indices.
Supervised Learning Management Systems, Repository of Learning Objects and Digital Atlas
Smooth functioning of the Learning Management System at AKU
Provide training and assistance to the faculties in e-Learning issues
Provide administrative assistance to the departmental faculties
Editing and computation of the final scores of MBBS, SoN and PGME programs.
Standardized formatting of the question paper of Medical College
Computation of scores and compilation of the results
Delivery and collection of the exam papers
Invigilation during MBBS examination
Assist exam coordinators in uploading question papers to Question Bank
Assist in smooth function of examination
