Accomplishments:
• Strove to ensure unparalleled standards of living for the citizens of Dubai, supported the development of national statistics for economic, social, human, and environmental development.
• Registered success in completing the Household Income and Expenditure Survey 2019 in the capacity of Group leader of the technical team.

• Delivering the full vision of the future of the statistical system, and contributing to developing metrics to track the Prices and Costs of Living Section.

• Developing a functional yet modern statistical system and adopted to international standards in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of statistical data.
• Driving project excellence in Digitization of Data Processing and Analysis by providing strategic direction, crafting digital programs (R program) and related methodologies (Hedonic regression) to calculate the indices, and gaining results while managing all associated processes of data cleaning, processing, review, and publication.

• Vice team leader of the Data Science team, worked on web scraping the prices of goods and services of the consumer price index project

• Representing a decisive step towards a more social Emirate of Dubai by producing a robust Emirati Dashboard, in cooperation with the commissioner of the Society Service Pillar “Community Development Authority”

Accomplishments:
• Produced impactful statistical data for the regulation of Ozone depleting substances entering UAE in line with the Vienna convention and Montreal Protocol for the protection of the ozone layer in line with other international conventions such as UNFCCC.
• Key person in preparing, writing, and issuing the Cabinet Resolution No. 26 of 2014 regarding the National System for Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
• Succeeded in managing exhibitions, events, and local and regional meetings spanning the 3rd and 4th Regional Symposium, Main Meeting of West Asia ODS Officers Network 2014.
• Served as an ambassador of the country and represented UAE at different national, regional, and international meetings - offered visibility of the country’s efforts in the environmental fields, and defended the country’s status in the international environmental negotiations.
• Offered vital inputs during the preparation of the first UAE Environmental Performance report 2015 and contributed to preparing detailed summaries and reports on the Social and economic development sector.

• Instrumental in developing the department’s operational plan, implementing innovative/relevant/new national legislations, projects and policies for chemicals circulation in the country (green chemistry initiative, ban non-refillable refrigerants containers).
• Made pioneering efforts to deploy the benchmarking analysis and suggest the implementation of effective legislations of chemicals and hazardous waste in line with relevant international policies, regulations and standards in liaison with local government.
• Developed credible relations with external stakeholders to gather regulatory information on different types of hazardous materials.
• Designed policies for import/export of chemicals in line with international conventions and agreements through

• Managing HCFCs in the country and setting legislations to protect the ozone layer and phase-out plans and reduction percentages

• Standardized processes for pesticide registration and annual update of the import quota based on statistical analysis.
