Worked on multiple projects in Oman and Jordan as a drive test engineer, roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Conducting drive tests on multiple technology (2G, 3G and LTE) to monitor network behavior
Analyzing drive test log files using post processing tools like GENEX Assistant to resolve coverage, quality, interference, handover, and call drop issues
Examining site performance by conducting frequent field drive tests and optimizing the cell parameters and antenna configuration - type/azimuth/ tilt/height- to achieve better performance
Generating and reviewing RF optimization reports including statistical analysis of KPIs and plots from the post-processing tool
Performing spectrum sweep tests for LTE frequencies in preparation for roll outs using spectrum analyzer
