- Scheduled, Preventive & breakdown maintenance of steel structure, stationary & rotary equipments in marine corrosive environment including diesel generator, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, valves, pipelines, MLAs, Hydraulic Actuators, Fixed Crane, Fenders, Mooring Hooks, HPPS, pipelines & valves. - Investigates and troubleshoots maintenance problems that can hurdle continuous operation. Implements faults finding routines and procedures, diagnose problems and takes appropriate action including devising and implementing solutions. - Command in dismantling, find root cause, rectify/resolve tehnical problems and reassemble of all mechanical equipment. - Inspect time to time integrity of mechanical equipment by applying advance technologies, and take appropriate action in case of any fault diagnose. - Maintane all documents of terminal maintenance. - Carry out terminal modification, pipeline layout and new project work as per drawing whenever required.. - Scheduled & carried out monthly, 6 monthly and annual maintenance of Stationary & Rotary equipment. - Purchase of mechanical equipments through national and international vendors (Valves, Pumps, Compressors and handling equipment) etc by review and analysis of supplier’s bid. - Preparation of documents - Technical requisition file, commercial documents for call of tenders. - Support in commercial negotiations with the suppliers. - Conduct IMS internal/external audit including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001: 2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 - Responsible to ensure safe and continous transportation of Furnace, Crude and Diesel oil via vessel to tanks including line pigging (by air or by product). - Responsible for plan and provide in house and on job training to technician and supervisors
Responsible for all types of maintenance (shutdown, breakdown) of rotary machinery like single and multistage centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, centrifuges, agitators, mixers and conveyers, And in stationary equipment’s valve (gate, glob, NRVs, ball, PRVs)
Major assignment’s at QATR steel :-
• Mold oscillation frame over hauling and installing and gear boxes. Hydraulic share cylinder and knife changing ROT table removing and erecting and installation and overhauling of withdrawal roller and banker roller at CC plant.
• DRP plant CO compressor 2nd stage rotor replacement and alignment. Briquetting machines roller change. And exchanger dismantling and checking and fit back. Reformer bellows changing and related houses changing different type fan overhaul and alignment
• Centrifugal pumps positive displacement pump and plate heat exchanger at utility water treatment plant
• Overhead cranes gear boxes, motors, wheel, and wire roup changing and over hauling
• Different type hydraulic pneumatic cylinder overhauling and installing
• Bucket elevator bearings pulley and gear reducer changing and over hauling.
• Rollin mill furnace front roller furnace feeding roller pinch rollers spindle cooling bde shafts and gear reduce furnace related hydraulic cylinders and mill stand gear reducer spindles hydraulic cylinders’ change
Responsible for all types of maintenance (preventive, predictive, shutdown, breakdown) of rotary machinery like LPG VCM and ethylene single and multistage centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps, centrifugal compressors, LPG and ethylene reciprocating compressors, And in stationary equipment’s exchangers( re boiler, preheater, cooler) valve (gate, glob, NRVs, ball, PRVs)
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
• Working on Tanks of Perxilene, Glycol, Acetic acid and Ethylene
1. Valve installation and leak test
2. PRVs PSVs installations and calibration in workshop annul basis
3. Manhole opening and closing during shutdown for inspection
4. Pump suction and discharge connections etc
5. Confined space entry and carried out Inspection with inspection teams permit executions.
6. Before removing manhole mechanical isolation like slip plate or slip blinding valve.
7. How now about high pressurize flenge line first breaking using og chemical suet.
• Working on pressurize vessels of LPG and VCM spheres.
1. Valve installation and leak test and also periodic lubrication
2. PRVs PSVs installations and calibration in workshop on annual basis.

SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS:
• Main process air compressors VK-100-6 annual inspection.
1. Check and Inspect all pinion shafts general radial bearing clearances and oil retaining ring clearances and replace 3rd 5th and 6th stage bearings.
2. Check and Inspect pinion shaft all oil and air labyrinth seals clearances.
3. Check and Inspect main bull gear rotor combined general thrust bearings clearances.
4. Check and Inspect main shaft all oil labyrinth seals clearances.
5. Check torque tightening of impeller and volute insert clearances.
• Inspection over hauling and replacement of rotors of turbo expender Power recovery turbine 8 MW PRT80-2
1. Check and Inspect all pinion shafts general radial bearing clearances and oil retaining ring clearances and after checking and inspection replace HP case and LP case rotors.
2. Check and Inspect HP case and LP case rotors all oil and off gas labyrinth seals clearances and replace LP case off gas labyrinth carbon seal insert.
3. Check and Inspect main bull gear rotor combined general thrust bearings clearances Replace rotors.
4. Check and Inspect main bull gear rotor all oil labyrinth seals clearances.
