• Ensuring functional accounting system is maintained using Sage 50 accounting software
• Liaising with external auditors to ensure completion of statutory audits in record time.
• Prepares annual and monthly management reports and analyses such to the Board,

o Prepared lecture notes, assignments, and semester exams on ACCA Corporate and Business Law (F4) and Governance, Risk and Ethics (P1) contents and delivered them to students of Huanghuai University, Henan, China on an exchange program in accounting between Swansea University and Huanghuai University.
o Marked the examination scripts and published them for the International College, Huanghuai University, Henan, China
o Achieved 70% pass rates in both papers after the marking, thereby positioning the students for sitting the ACCA papers in the June exam session.
o The appointment is on contract based on the collaboration between Swansea University, Wales, UK and Huanghuai University, Henan, China.
• Ensuring proper revenue and expenditure accounting for the hospital and its associated companies to enable reliability of monthly financial reports,
• Participating in preparation of budgets by providing the CFO with relevant variables and cost estimates,
• Managing company assets through the update of the company’s Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
• Participated in drawing up a Business Plan which led the company to receive a foreign denominated Private Equity Loan through an Investment Bank from Mauritius (Abraaj).
• Providing reviews of inventory and cash control which are high risk areas in the company’s operations,
• Ensuring internal control procedures covering procurement, sales and treasury operations are functional and attending to queries from external auditors on issues relating to the effectiveness of the controls during investigations and annual audits,
• Reviews financial accounting records periodically to enable reliability of financial statements and compliance with extant controls relating to financial reporting.
I completed the Diploma in International Financial Reporting of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA) scoring 73% in the June 2017 exam session in which the results were released on 17th July 2017. This exam focuses on proficiency in Financial Reporting using the IFRS framework.
