• Responsible for building, maintaining, administering computer networks and also to give support end-users on networking issues.
• To provide effective and timely support on desktops/laptops, networking, software installation, maintenance of hardware and technical support on workstations and all other IT issues.
• Resolving all other technical difficulties and to contact with vendors when necessary.
• Configure laptops, PC’s, network routers, switches, servers etc. if required.
• Answering systems help desk phone and resolve user questions about applications used in multiple end-user environment.
• Ensure that all software`s installed on company desktop/laptop PC`s are licensed.
• Apply all OS patches, upgrades and fixes in a controlled manner ensuring that respective services are not disrupted.
• Ensure corporate data integrity is safeguarded by obtaining the pertinent backups as per the corporate policy. Perform basic confidence tests by regularly restoring data to a back-up server to ensure effectiveness for recoverability.
• Maintain the antivirus servers along with the security engineer and Run periodic spot checks on staff workstations to ensure that anti-virus S/W is always active and advise management of deviations, and ensure that no unauthorized S/W is residing on them and advise management of deviations
• Experience of supporting remote connection tools, in relation to Broadband and 3G technologies and providing remote fault analysis, via verbal communication and IT remote control tools.
• Blackberry services, iPhone services, Google IMAP, configurations, software updates, backups and restore of Data.
• Manage assets of company (IT related items only).
• Create RFID’s to ensure smooth operation of time & attendance system.
• Maintain all documents in a disciplinary way of filing.
• Look after the CCTV system, recorder, cameras connectivity, backups, IP configurations, backup etc.
