• Advise on Tax, VAT and Zakat matters from compliance to consulting work, such as preparing tax computations and performing tax research.
• Responsible for Tax compliance from analysis of data, review the final Zakat, WHT and VAT returns.
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns, with high accuracy of data.
• Participate with the reporting team in preparing the planning and budgeting for matters relevant to the Zakat and Tax.
• Analyse and reconcile financial reports from various GE businesses such as Healthcare, Oil and
gas and Corporate.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations with analysing financial data in inventory, TAX,
VAT, payroll and cash in bank
• review and verify invoices and check requests
• sort, code and match invoices and set invoices up for payment
• prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• maintain vendor files
• correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• provide supporting documentation for audits
