Duties:
• Executing API tests with Postman and related tools for Backend testing, fortifying the system's robustness.
• Integrating Shuterbug seamlessly into a TestNG-driven hybrid framework, enabling rigorous visual validation by capturing and comparing screenshots to identify UI discrepancies during test execution.
• Employing Selenium for cross-browser and parallel testing, showcasing versatile testing approaches within TestNG. Heavily relied on the index HTML defect tracker in TestNG, ensuring descriptive and well-documented errors to enhance collaboration with other teams and increase eficiency by 80%.
• Conducting responsive website testing, afirming seamless functionality across various devices and screen sizes.
• Leveraging Selenium WebDriver with Java, JUnit, Cucumber, and Gherkin, crafted a robust Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework. This framework prioritizes clarity and simplicity, ensuring easy understanding by non-technical stakeholders and fostering efective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts and Product teams to grasp user journeys and functional requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
• Using excellent interpersonal and communication skills during the entire SDLC process.
• Participating in regular code reviews, providing valuable insights to improve code quality and identify potential defects early in the development process.
• Conducting risk-based testing, prioritizing test scenarios based on critical business functionalities and potential impact.
• Using SQL for basic data validation and executing simple queries, establishing a strong foundation for testing applications.
