Monitor client cloud usage and spend trends, presenting opportunities for cost savings and healthy cloud usage. Work with distributed teams to influence strategy, tactics, and execution of cloud usage utilizing a strong understanding of cloud requirements and ability to partner cross-organizationally to drive cost optimization discussions. Establish cloud optimization business process frameworks in support of globally distributed teams . Partner with the finance team to build budgets and forecast models around public cloud usage and spend. Advise teams on tagging, metadata, and policy compliance, while driving excellence on the companys total cloud maturity. Build and deliver effective data driven presentations for various team SME's on public cloud cost usage and spend insights. Create custom reports giving personalized recommendations to clients based on budget, best practices, timeline, and goals. Create cost and usage analyses, trending and forecasting reports, buying strategies, and best practices for cloud adoption. Configure and manage customer-facing cloud optimization tools, staying abreast of cost optimization strategies and tools.
Monitored Cloud consumption to detect and escalate anomalies and unplanned spikes. Recommended custom cost optimization solutions based on clients goals and pre defined trade-offs.
Key Achievements: o Developed and implemented a new go-to-market strategy and business plan for FinOps SaaS in the US market, generating commendable brand awareness and 300% increase in in-bound leads. o Served as client SME, making recommendations for workload, infrastructure and code optimization resulting in visible wastage elimination just after 2 meetings. o Worked closely with clients through a predefined sales cadence, asking relevant questions learn pain points and highlighting the value company solutions, resulting in ongoing discussions and a client conversion rate of 80%.
