Deliver comprehensive functional support in directing and monitoring all legal matters and operations of Sadara, and play a significant role as an ad hoc member of the Management Committee and the Procurement Committee. • Contributed to the development and formulation of vision/mission statement and overall structure of the Law Department, while employing, instructing and training lawyers and department staf.
• Functioned as a Board Secretary involved in controlling and organising board and shareholder meetings and matters, and worked in close collaboration with shareholder representatives.
• Supported and monitored all the operations, finance, procurement, supply chain and HR teams, and established standard forms and procedures. Networked with Aramco and Dow teams for handling associated entity transactions, including the licensing and marketing agreements.
Negotiated and drafted a wide variety of commercial agreements and corporate documents such as distribution and agency, JV and shareholder agreements, terms and conditions, technology transfer and licensing, tolling and lease agreements, employment agreements and policies, loan agreements and documentation, project finance, articles and bylaws, share and asset purchase agreements. Selected Contributions:
• Displayed sustained leadership in developing standard agreements, implementing rules, policies and training programs for corporate governance, export control, and competition law.
• Developed and led successful drafting and project management workshops for associates.
• Participated in the management of the Firm as a member of the audit and opinion committees.
