As the Human Resources Business Partner I support the management team with formulating strategies regarding human capital and support geographically diverse business divisions with aligning their practices to achieve the organisational mission, vision and goals. As a trusted partner I work with 4 divisions (180 people) to build solutions around Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Policy Development and Implementation. Management Responsibilities
 Line management of 2 HR generalist direct reports
 Mentoring of direct reports and other clients within the business
 Project management (example: companywide transition to new time keeping system)
 Vendor management (Health Insurance, Life Insurance)
 Design and delivery of knowledge transfer sessions (mainly HRMS based)

Talent Management
 Performance management (lead the annual/midyear performance review process, calibration and compensation review companywide)
 Succession management (replacement planning and proactive succession planning) and Retention Initiative design (critical employees retained with various strategies)
 Manpower planning / Resource management (designed solution during a manpower shortage to further utilise existing resources allowing project delivery to continue on schedule)
 Policy development and implementation (example: leave policy, offshore compensation policy)
 Decommissioning of departments, redundancy package design, post redundancy employee support
 Change management (example: Leadership change in one division, designed a program involving team assessment using ‘Kolbe A’, team meetings to introduce the changes to occur, to outline the change cycle and then delivery of workshops involving team building exercises to ensure the change was successful)

Business Partnership
 As a trusted partner, provide internal consultancy service to 4 clients within a matrix organisation
 Ensure buy-in to solutions through effective stakeholder relationships

Technical Expertise
 Responsible for overall operation of HRIS / HRMS including leave management system (example: eliminated company liability from over 3 million AED to zero by implementing policy to utilise outstanding vacation)
 Data collection / analysis (example: collated data on projected employee end of service dates vs housing lease end dates to see overlap and decide whether the company would benefit from covering additional costs to retain employees, decision was made not to implement due to projected costs for critical employees)
 Reporting for executive committee
 Presentation of initiatives and solutions to executive committee (lease renewal projection initiative above)

Compensation and Benefits
 Compensation benchmarking and recommendations using internal and market data (Mercer survey)
 Benefit management - Health Insurance, Life Insurance

 Through negotiation, reduced the cost of temporary housing for 47 staff by 11% for a four month period saving approximately 185, 000 AED
