Responsibilities:
•Ensuring compliance of permit to work after been issued / signed.
•Performing inspection in compliance with company's safety, health and environmental system as well as Health Act and Workplace Safety and Environmental Public Health Regulations.
•Emergency procedures, including evacuation plans.
•Fire prevention and protection i.e. Fire Extinguishers checklist daily, also availability at all the work areas and stores.
•Verifying to confirm that all lifting equipment operators are trained, competent and certified.
•Conducting toolbox talks to all workers prior commencing the work.
•Identification of hazards, risk assessments and proactive control measures with the motion that PPE should be considered as last resort.
•Inspection of the following plants/equipment, cranes or other lifting equipment, fire-fighting. systems, scaffolding, confined space, excavations, rigging operations, welding
Project: Metro Phase 1 System, Rolling Stock, Depots And Track Work
Responsibilities:
Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met
Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of business and operations
Conduct HSE trainings and orientations to all new employees
Ensure all workers are HSE compliant with company policies and safety standards
•Organize internal and external training to employee such as heavy equipments operators
•Inspect and ensure all firefighting equipments are frequently inspected and maintained;
•Carried out risk assessment of any critical activities and advise the management on the necessary action to be taking.
•Take part in project progress review meetings and render the HSE related information to client.
•Providing required assistance to line management in the investigation of incidents and disseminating learning points.
•Maintained all norms and safety procedures efficiently.
•Inspect Harness, ladder and all work at height during coach maintenance.

•Conduct, manage and coordinate health and safety activities on site by using tactics and diplomacy in dealing with both the client and the construction team.

•Conduct weekly safety meetings with the safety team, analyses all safety related issues observed during the week in different work location, provide suggestion to close all issues.

Responsibilities
•Carried out day to day safety inspection on site and provide all necessary correction to all unsafe act and conditions.
•Responsible for conducting toolbox talks prior to starting of any job activities by providing informing the workforce about all hazards that are applicable to the task.
•Liaising with supervisor in conducting workplace in a safe and polite manner.
•Check all permits and ensure that they are signed before starting of any job activities.
•Inspect all firefighting equipments.
•Position fire watch man in a strategic location and provide them with emergency contact numbers in case of any fire outbreak.
•Conduct emergency drill regularly and response to emergency.
•Maintain all drill record and made available upon request during internal or external auditing.
•Ensuring that all safety procedures are strictly followed in accordance with health and safety policy of the company.
•Carried out regular gas test and evaluate result at the work locations.
•Attend safety meetings and discuss all site safety related matters.
•Inspect gas cylinders regularly to ensure that no leakages occur.

•Provision of emergency procedures, safety signs, relevant protective clothing and equipment, and incident reporting to the relevant authorities.
•Prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise, radiation and manual handling risks.
•Responsible for safety Surveillance and reporting on health and safety practices and systems.

•Render necessary advice on HSE to the work force and sub contractor’s site supervisor during site visits and follow up

•Ensure all type of incidents/accident are reported as per procedure
•Be part of investigation of incidents & ensure reporting of all incidents including near misses.
•Analyzing trend of accident, incidence and near misses and initiate preventive measures and disseminate the learning point
•Ensure risk assessment and Aspect Impact analysis are carried out.
