• Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to recruitment, selection, on boarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the Group.
• Develop and implement programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention, including recognition programs, employee development programs, and other initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures related to HR matters.
• Develop and implement effective performance management programs that ensure that employees are meeting their performance goals and objectives, and that performance issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and implement effective compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the goals and objectives.
• Managing employee relations issues, including resolving conflicts, addressing employee grievances, and ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and equitably.
• Analyzing data related to HR metrics and report on key performance indicators, including turnover rates, employee engagement, and other HR-related data.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, including finance, and administration, to ensure that HR policies and procedures are aligned with the goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders on HR-related matters.
• Overseeing the Human Resources operations for IHG Jordan Hotels (InterContinental Jordan, InterContinental Aqaba, Crowne Plaza Amman, Crowne Plaza Dead Sea, Crowne Plaza Petra and Holiday Inn Dead Sea) with total head count of 1800 colleagues.
• Acts as a consultant and advise for Area GM, GM’s, HR Directors, and Learning & Development Managers on the corrective action process related to IHG Policies and Procedures.
• Provide HR Directors with regular feedback through Check-Inn conversation.
• Support the Director of Operations with all IHG requirements for Jordan Area.
• Develop and execute talent strategies for short- and long-term talent needs and succession plans.
• Representing Jordan Area in the IHG Office - Dubai and cascading all the new people initiatives and tools to Jordan team accordingly.
• Manage the Annual Performance reviews for Jordan team
• Acting as point of reference upon implementing IHG Policies, Strategies and Procedure’s…etc.
• Preparing Manning budget and forecast for all hotels
• Reviewing salaries scales with others comp set
• Preparing the Medical and Life Insurance contract for all hotels
• Oversee the annual merit increase and STI program
