10+ years of IT projects management experience including cross-functional implementations with a mixture of internal and outsourced resources in a multicultural environment. Project System (PS) Reports Project
I have lead the implementation of PS reports and Investment Management (FI-IM) reports with support of a consultant, SAP PS and delivered the project to the Finance department. The reports include:
• Approved Projects
• Project Financial Status
• Assets Under Construction and Fixed Assets
One of the challenges we faced in this project is the lack of integration between SAP Project system & Asset Accounting. I found a technical work around by reading the master data of assets and linking their attributes with WBS in PS.
Human Resources Project
I have lead the development of HR - Personal Administration and Time Management reports that included the following reports:
• Headcount
• Leavers and Entries
• Employee Overtime
• Travel Management
• Personnel Administration
• Payroll
Authorization in this project was a challenge. So, we based the reports on the already developed framework using cost centers. Then later we redesigned the solution around organization units.
SAP BW Upgrade Projects
At 2007 I have contributed in the minor upgrade of BW 3.1 to 3.5, and then at 2008 I have contributed in the major upgrade of BW 3.5 to Business Intelligence (BI) 7.0.
MM Procurement Reports Project
I have lead the development of a Procurement and Contracts reports project with the support of a senior consultant, SAP BW and a Consultant, SAP Materials Management (MM), and delivered the project to the Procurement and Contracts department after training the end users. The reports developed include:
• Purchase Requisition
• Purchase Order Values
• Purchasing Groups Analysis
• Backlogged Purchase Orders
• Vendor Evaluation
MM Inventory Management (MM-IM) Reports Project
I have contributed in the training and development of MM-IM reports delivered to the Warehouse department. The reports include:
• Slow-Moving Items
• Material Status
Plant Maintenance (PM) Reports Project
I have contributed in the training and development of PM reports delivered to the Maintenance department, including the following reports:
• Work Center Capacity Utilization
• Work Order - KPIs’, for example:
• Ratio of emergency and urgent work orders to planned orders
• Percentage of technically completed orders as planned
We had a successful journey developing power users in the business and applying train the trainer strategy that released IT from heavy support load.
Joined SAP Certification Program for 2 years with a support of a senior consultant, SAP BW as a mentor. Together we started an implementation of SAP BW financial reports as a pilot project.
We have developed several financial reports including:
• Balance Sheets
• Income Statements
• Statement of Cash Flow
• Cost Center reports (Actual Vs. Plan)
• Profit Contribution Statements for each service line
• Contract Accounts Receivable Aging report
Authorizations were designed for each cost center in roles to control access using Authorization variable based on the cost center hierarchy.
Financial reports went through several reengineering efforts and continuous enhancements to cope with the business requirements changes.
Also, we have developed several Sales reports including:
• Sales Statistics
• Business Partners Statistics
• Revenue Reports
• Aging Reports
• Billing Statistics
Lead the design and implementation of the corporate intranet website, using ASP and JavaScript within Adobe Dreamweaver MX product.
The in-house development saved a great amount of time and cost compared with outsourcing alternatives.
Business owners were happy on the methodology taken in the implementation and the communication plan used during the project.
Worked with SABIC IT department for two months and got rotated in different sections then I have done self learning program in SAP and focused in ABAP programming language to develop simple reports.
Also, did self learning and developments of web applications using PHP and Apache server.
