Omnix International is a leading IT professional services provider and system integrator in the GCC area. It is specialized in building Enterprise e-solution to automate technical, practical and business issues for different governmental security sectors.
Since joined Omnix International (ESS division) on July 2011, I perform several roles depending on the project working on. My responsibility is to develop web applications using a model-driven development approach and oracle database as backend. My part of work includes developing business logic, web pages, web design, stylesheet, and system deployment.
As well as, I develop and Implement ETL jobs using InfoSphere Data Stage and Quality Stage to perform data integration and transformation.
Major Projects:
• Data Cleansing Project (Ministry of Interior)
Implementing a solution to allow manual and automatic data cleansing for a major system in MOI; the system has components to allow defining cleansing rules and cleansing procedures. The main jobs were built using Data Stage and Quality Stage. In addition, the system utilizes IBM Change Data Capture to log new incidents.
• E-form (Emirates Identity Authority)
Implementing a system to automate the business processes and activities behind issuing Emirates Identity Card related to all citizens and residents. This huge system includes sub systems to manage processes such as registering applications, submitting application to EIDA, review application, issue emirates ID card, and many other processes. The system integrates with many external entities and systems such as ministry of interior to read visa and residence details and verify the data. The sub systems available are divided into two major systems:
o Front Office System: available on the internet to allow public users and typing centers to submit ID card applications (New Card, Renew Card, or Replace Card)
o Back Office System: available for EIDA employees to allow receiving and verifying the applications coming from front office system.
• Event Management System (Abu Dhabi Police)
It allows organizers and event managers to submit requests to perform events through a public-facing web application for management of their events, including providing the facility for visitors to register in a specific event. The system has a huge workflow to process the event lifecycle.
• E-Payment System (Institute of Applied Technology)
This solution provides a point-of-sales interface with contactless ID cards for all locations within IAT campuses. We deliver the required integration between the software application and the hardware for POS and Barcode reader. We provides also excel-based reports for back-office management for tracking and history, along with a centralized rules repository to store grade-based policies, such as the number of uniforms entitled for a class, and the monthly stipend issued per class per month. We provides also Excel import interfaces for uploading basic inventory on books, food menu items, and uniform stock, with the aim of leveraging the system for a basic inventory management solution across all products (food items, uniforms, and books).
Estarta is one of the leader companies in Jordan. I have worked there as an associate software engineer, I was able to gain a solid practical experience in programming using technologies such as HTML, ASP.NET, C#, CSS, SQL, and PLSQL.
I had participated in the development of the following project:
• Refugee Registration System ( RRIS )
RRIS is an enterprise solution deployed on United Nation UNRWA institution to manage refugee registration, social services and tracking all information in the fields and areas where UNRWA operates.
