1. Nestle Saudi Arabia Go live project
a. Success Factors:
i. Migrate to the new offices with minimized down time.
ii. New standard cabling and labeling.
iii. Connect All Nestle Branches with the centralized Gateway (HO) of Saudi through MPLS, initiating a team to support (16 Branches till date).
b. Critical factors:
i. 24/7 service requirement.
ii. Bandwidth Challenge with sensitive Delay critical service.
iii. FMCG Critical short operation cycle.
c. Lesson learned:
i. Consider the new expansion in the original design by meeting the Nestle long run vision.
ii. Initial clear and full vision, reduces a lot of rework and unplanned modification.
2. Nestle Saudi/Palestine IP telephony system Design/ implementation and integration
a. Success Factors:
i. Migrate to the new Network with the same cabling(in old offices).
ii. Use the same data center with no extra cost.
iii. Migration has been done perfectly during the weekend and with minimum down time.
iv. New Fiber cabling between cabinets.
v. SIP implementation.
vi. New Wireless network installed using centralized controller located in Jeddah to support the whole kingdom, giving the high dependency on wireless in the FMCG environment specially in Warehouses.
b. Critical factors:
i. Use the existing old cabling and cabinets and data center.
ii. Install the new equipment using the existing power and cabinets and cabling.
c. Lesson learned:
i. Low level design need to have more details, to reduce confusion during the downtime.
ii. Billing system implementation to be clearer.
• Leading the IT user support team (helpdesk) & leading the Network and servers support team.
• Design and lead the implementation for the new Networks and IP telephony Cisco Systems.
• Design, Configuring, implementing and manage new Installations for networking stuffs for new branches/warehouses.
• Managing vendor relations effectively, critical vendors like HP, Cisco, STC, Mobily, ITC, Nournet.
• Managing communication with vendors for technical issues or problems.
• Monitor network problems and logs.
• Provide recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning.
