Work closely with construction managers, architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals to plan
and develop a solid budget for construction projects.
-Scrutiny and evaluating tender documents, drawings, specs & schedules.
-Review and Distribution of Tender/ITT/RFI Documents to all necessary Stakeholders. Ensure completeness of
all documents.
-Managing preparation of enquiries / RFQ based on the BOQ, specifications and drawings to Suppliers and
subcontractors.
-Comparison Studies based on suppliers / subcontractor’s quotations, analyzing the offers that comply with the
specifications, selecting the most competitive proposal.
-Held meetings and negotiations with suppliers / subcontractors on both technical and commercial aspects of
products and works.
-Prepare technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements on the project at early
stage (tendering stage)
Keeps up to date all estimating records, studies of local and the international market, unit prices, lists of vendors… etc.
-Manage Tender Clarification Process and Tender Negotiation & Qualification Process with Clients
-Review, analyze and approve the Programme of work.
-Report the status of programme and the progress of project to the client.
-Pursuance the performance of contractor and review monthly reports.
-Highlighting the areas of delay proactively and notify the client and contractor of this.
-Advice on appropriate measures for implementations of a delay mitigation plan to keep work on track.
-Carry out site visits for more clarity of site work execution.
-Progress Monitoring, Updating Schedules, Computing Variance and suggesting remedial actions.
-Tracking status of Submittals and Approvals for Drawings, Materials & Sub-Contractors
-Development of Base line / Look Ahead / Accelerated / Recovery Schedules (up to required levels).
-Preparing Daily, Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports.
-Ensuring timely completion of activities to accomplish contractual Milestones.
-Attending weekly/monthly progress meetings with Consultant / Client / Sub-Contractors.
-Generating / Updating of Progress S-Curves & cash flow curve
-Review for the tender documents & drawings.
-Quantities take off for all civil items including steel reinforcement calculations.
-Preparing bill of quantities.
-Review the approved vendors & subcontractors, contact them and get quotations for the required items.
-Review the received quotations and verify the compliance with the tender specification.
-Preparation variation studies for the projects in hands including recognize the changes, itemize the changes
and preparing the calculation sheet in the final form to be submitted for the consultant for review
