Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager with close collaboration with the Demand and Supply Chain Manager, managing all Export Projects for Plants in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Region, as the single point of contact with the receiving markets while facilitating timeline preparations, overall projects execution, and monitoring progress and risks across categories (Confectionery, Food, Coffee, Dairy and Nutrition). Overall, In charge of Project Communication and documentation.
Achievements:
• Led cross functional Projects teams across 4 Categories serving +10 Export Markets.
• Delivered +15 Innovation and Renovations Projects in 2 years.
• Delivered 800+ Tons in the Confectionery category in one year which is a direct contribution to the cost reduction/cost avoidance for the Dubai factory.
• Managing +5 Active projects time and +20 Explorations at a time to support the Export Projects KPI’s for MENA factories.
• Set up the Export Projects Steering Committee with the support of the Leadership Team with a focus on improvement of Service levels to Export Markets.

• Develop and implement export project plans and strategies in alignment with business objectives and the Export market demands.
• Coordinate all aspects of export projects, including product selection, pricing, packaging, labeling, and logistics.
• Lead the cross-functional meetings with stakeholders to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery of export orders.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate the compliance with international trade regulations, export control laws, and customs requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of export documentation e.g., shipping documents, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the export markets to enhance collaboration and customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and support to the teams regarding export-related inquiries, product specifications, and market requirements.

The role entailed, Managing, and measuring day to day work of Production associates to deliver agreed KPI’s (Cost/Quality/Customer Service/Safety and Hygiene while keeping production equipment at optimum operating conditions. This was possible by building a strong team, fostering cross functional collaboration, driving continuous improvement mindsets and initiatives while putting in place processes and systems to measure and monitor performance.
