• Conduct site inspections on installation of fire protection systems done by MEP contractors supplied by NAFFCO related to commercial, residential & industrial projects and guide them in accordance with Local authority codes & NFPA standards.
• Coordinate with customers (consultant, client & contractors) on technical issues with regards to fire protection & conflicts with other MEP services, RCP layout & architecture. This includes organizing meetings, physically cross checking the installation at site with shop drawings and providing relevant segments of fire protection codes to justify installation.
• Prepare inspection reports depicting site status to inform contractors of key issues at site that requires rectification before the handing over stage and also to keep a tab on the progress of the site installation throughout the installation to ensure smooth handing over of the site.
• Cross check the material submittals, shop drawings, catalogues, items delivered (this includes the make and correct parts required to install the system properly) and organize correct/incorrect site installation reference photos in order to both guide the relevant NAFFCO departments to amend material submittals, update shop drawings and deliver the correct material while at the same time also instructing the MEP contractor of the method of installing the delivered materials and explaining any technical queries they might have.
• Prepare/Review method of statements for fire protection systems for upcoming projects for submission to the consultant.
• Prepare/Review sequence of operations for fire protection systems for upcoming projects for submission to the consultant.

• Inspect buildings to determine fire protection system requirements
• Direct the purchase, modification, installation, maintenance, and operation of fire protection systems
• Coordinate with contractors, clients and suppliers to meet deadlines
