· contributes to the formulation and implementation of the Tariff
Agreement
· Contribute to the development of the Interconnection Section objectives.
· Develop sectional policies, procedures, systems and frameworks to ensure efficient and streamlined operations across the
Interconnection Section;
· Co-ordinate the operational activity of the Interconnect Section and oversee the interaction of Section employees in a way
which breeds a culture of high performance and team work in an engaging professional environment;
· Develop line reports by setting individual performance KPIs and objectives, monitoring progress and reporting on findings.
Identify training and development opportunities/needs and provide technical and professional guidance as required;
· Manage on daily basis the interconnect agreements, transmission agreements, agreements, etc. towards class I licensed
operators current and future
· Daily management of the wholesale including reseller, ISP and MVNO agreements with class II licensed resellers in
Bahrain (mobile, fixed operators and resellers)
· As a single point of contact, develops/manages relationship with Wholesale clients to maximise revenues
· Daily management of the international wholesale agreements with international carriers
· Responsible for the disputes, claims and complaints with respect to the wholesale area Managing of developing Reference

· Negotiate and work with the OLO work stream to implement agreements with partners

· Supervising to growing up the Carrier Services and Roaming business.
Projects:
· Project Manager of establishing the first VoIP Gateway. All negotiations, installation and testing are finished successfully
within 3 months.
· Project Manager of swapping all transmission system in MTN network to another provider in matter of quality and cost
reduction.
· Project Manager for swapping all data capacities to another ISP.
· Both above projects offered to add more capacities with saving for more than 30% from the existing invoices.
· Negotiator to establish direct connectivity with other operators outside the country to:
- Reduce the cost of international outgoing cost to the targeted countries.
- To be a carrier for the national operators as a transit to the mentioned country.
· Independent transmission capacities from other competitors.
- Successful negotiation with new vendors was made and got a very good offer to target 2012 needs.

· Development of Interconnect Service plans, processes and procedures.
· In accordance with the company’s plans and agreements; undertake duties to fulfill interconnect objective and
requirements.
· Study the interconnect proposals and requirements in detail and prepare detail costing, detailed MoUs, Interconnect
Agreements and the Project Implementation Plans.
· Periodically revise and propose update to the existing interconnect agreements including commercial and pricing terms.
· Identify the technical prerequisites for physical interconnections. Optimize Point of Interconnections (POIs) and recognize
the network elements that can provide the best interconnection plan under multi-operator/multi-service environment.
· Carry out in-depth study of the costing for leasing Interconnect transmission capacities and dedicated circuits. Identify cost
saving opportunities while marinating adequate level of transmission quality and reliability.
· Continuous monitoring, analysis and reporting on interconnect traffic behavior and initiation of necessary actions.
· Identify new Interconnect opportunities in the market for revenue maximization
· Process Interconnect transactions and maintain adequate records in accordance with company’s records retention policy.
· Liaise with operators counterparts to conduct and maintain regular Interconnect reconciliation
· Ensure timely interconnect billing, settlement, and payment and keep track and records of related documents.
· Continuous tracking and clearance of Interconnect accounts.
· Interconnect problems resolution and escalation.
· VAS Reconciliation, VAS problem investigation and resolving, and following up the payment process.
· Following up the Roaming Business.
Projects:
· Solve a dispute with Zain with saving more than 120, 000 USD for MTN.
· Solve a dispute with Canar in 2008 traffic with saving more than 50, 000 SDG for MTN.
· Solve a dispute with some Service Providers in VAS business with saving for more than 1, 000, 000 USD.

Job description:
§ NSS Engineer for Alcatel Equipment.
o Planning & configuring local, national & international network settings.
o Creating & extending signaling & traffic channels, defining LACs, BSCs and cells.
o Performing daily network stability checkups, defensive & corrective maintenance.
o Use of specialized analysis tools (protocol analyzer, vendor specific software, etc) to analyze, rectify & respond to network
faults, given direct access to all NEs.
o Deal with our customer complaints that need some actions from NSS side.
o Experienced knowledge of using Alcatel's HLR / NGNHLR/ RCP & VLR/ SSP.
§ Roaming Engineer (IREG “International Roaming Expert Group”)
o I am responsible of the whole technical Roaming lifecycle, from Roaming Partner Data Definition through international
signaling (France Telecom/ Mednet) & Carrier Assignment.
o IR24 Testing, Trouble Shooting (taking & analyzing traces) Optimization.
o Coordinating with TADIG / Marketing and IREG at the Roaming Partner side, to the final Live Commercial Launch & Post Live
monitoring & Maintinance.
o HLRs & RCPs (MSCs) readiness for roaming issues.
o Investigate and solve all problems that appear for our inbound and outbound roamers.
o Proudly launched with more than 180 Roaming Partners worldwide to date, including Orange France & T-Mobile UK in a
short period of time.
