• Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by supervising and performing equipment maintenance on a daily basis.
• Develop and implement daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance inspections/schedules. Maintain records of all production equipment.
• Maintain the spare parts inventory at the appropriate levels using SAP system.
• Keep equipment manuals available, current, and orderly.
• Maintain the facility in a safe manner.
• Instruct maintenance and production personnel in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation. Train engineers and technicians in Troubleshooting Skills.
• Coordinate with supply chain sector of purchasing parts used in the repair or preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Analyze equipment failures; determine causes and direct necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Review maintenance requests with the Plant Manager.
• Ensure Company facilities are maintained.
• On call 24 hours a day to correct major equipment Breakdowns.
• Instruct employees in the proper handling of equipment.
• Report to plant manager.
• Planning, supervising and following-up all tasks of the engineering department such as industrial wares, scheduled maintenance, repairing malfunctions and maintaining of all safety equipment.
• Establishing a general plan for preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, and follow-up the implementation process to maintain their efficiency.
• Planning for the volume and specifications of the required electrical spare parts to reduce the machines downtime, besides the Inventory of spare parts balances.
• Making external maintenance contracts for some devices and equipment in addition to supervising their enforcement.
• Reviewing maintenance instructions for equipment and give recommendations.
• Dividing tasks between the electrical automation and maintenance team for maintenance and installations work
• Activating the occupational health and safety procedures for workers through company policies by coordination with the HR & Industrial Engineering departments.
• Put a training plan for his crew to improve their practical and technician skills by coordination with the HR Dept.
• Evaluating of employees through annual reports by coordination with the Human Resources Department.
• Ensure resolving technical malfunction of factory machines that disrupts Production processes and report it to Maintenance Manager.
• Prepare malfunction reports and breakdown timings.
• Responsibility for the implementation of preventive maintenance on various factory machinery.
• Assist in preparing preventative maintenance plans and work orders.
• Implementing pre-determined maintenance plans and preparing work orders accordingly through forming work groups.
• Monitors spare parts release from warehouses via SAP system.
• Responsible for preparing manpower allocation plan in different work shifts and assigning work orders according to the business need.
• Responsible to provide complete analysis on root cause for machinery malfunctions, suggesting means to enhance efficiency through reducing downtimes with the assistance of PM notifications and orders on SAP system.
• Supervise the implementation of the new factory projects (installing new machines, installing new transformers, etc…) and preparing work plans with the assistance of the suppliers and the involved parties.
• Conduct different training programs for electrical technicians to reach their optimum performance.
• Implement new modifications on the production lines according to the needs of the production team.
