• Managing and supervising the Tendering / Estimation team.

• Pre-contract review of tender terms and conditions to identify and manage high risk areas.
• Leading final contract negotiations with Employers.
• Monitoring contracts performance and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Carrying out of forensic analysis of case history and documents to support claims or claim defense.
• Maintaining a register of delay events and all related project correspondence for quick claims preparation.
• Preparing all types of claims (including claims for EOT, prolongation costs, damages due to disruptions, loss of productivity, design changes, acceleration, delays in payment and breaches of contract, etc.).

• Ensuring compliance with contract requirements, including compliance with project specifications and drawings, meeting contract milestones, keeping track of bond expiry dates and triggering timely renewal requests, ensuring that relevant insurance policies are in place and remain in effect, and monitoring of interim payment applications and certification of the same by the Employer/Engineer.
• Closely monitoring all project correspondence including letters, RFI’s, shop drawings, inspection requests, etc. to ensure that any changes by client are accounted for commercially.
• Ensuring that timely notices are sent to Engineer / Employer for any potential delay events.
• Assisting the Contracts Manager with claims preparation.
• Preparing all contractual and financial correspondence.
• Participating in the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports and contract compliance reports.
• Managing subcontract packages, scopes, specifications and procurement schedules.
• Supervising / double-checking on the Document Controller to make sure that all project documents and correspondence is fully maintained and easily retrievable on demand.
