-Maintaining strong business relationships with both parties to ensure a
high level of satisfaction with the project’s outcome.
-Developing and maintaining a successful project plan, and tracking the
progress of operational procedures in terms with the established schedule.
-Applying corrective measures and undertaking necessary actions to avoid
any delay or undesired outcome, and achieve smooth operation.
-Resolving any conflict that might arise with the end user or the supplier
during the process, and conducting periodic meetings to establish personal
contact with the parties.
-Preparation and participation in yearly exhibitions (IDEX, ADIHEX)
-Receiving inquiries from the end user, obtaining quotations from suppliers,
and ensuring that the product specifications comply with the former’s
requirements.
-Conducting market research, and providing consultancy and guidance for
the selection of a proposal that meets the end user’s best interests.
-Suggesting product improvements that would facilitate & enhance the end
user’s operation.
-Complying with the end user’s previously set budget limitation.
-Conducting negotiations with both parties to ensure the consistency of the
agreement conditions (Price, Delivery period, Payment terms, etc…)
-Undertaking projects with the end-user -Military, by being the official
institution responsible for handling all their purchase inquiries, from basic
garments to military supplies; while ensuring that the scope and direction of
each project is on schedule and consistent with the set requirements and
established standards.
-Inspecting and testing quality specifications to comply with the end-user
operational standards.
-Maintaining an effective organizational pattern to confirm all operations fall
within a desirable time frame.
-Coordinating with logistics department for clearance of received shipments
and delivery to end user to avoid congestion in the central warehouse.
-Processing the necessary paper work and documentation for shipment
clearance and delivery, and following up on settlement procedures through
wire transfers and bank LC’s.
- Manage and maintain the network infrastructure, servers, workstations, printers and POS machines.
- Develop and implement network security, assets lifecycle management, auto backup and disaster recovery plans and file system integrity.
- Record, analyze and prioritizes requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organization.
- Manage Mac OS X server deployment on iPad’s and iMac.
- Mobile phones technical hardware and software solution support (Blackberry, Apple, Android).
- Install, configure and manage Avaya and Nortel IP telephones.
- Maintaining ICT knowledge base with system documentation, procedures and help sheets.
- Contacting Suppliers for related Hardware issues.
- Work with the support team to deliver a safe, effective ICT resource for use by pupils and staff.
- To develop the ICT resource and ICT support service in line with the objectives.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Manage appropriate records of expenditure, of hardware and software, and of support requests and actions taken.
- To carry out the installation and configuration of all new computer hardware to ensure that it operates to maximum potential.
