Duties and Responsibilities (Cardiac ICU)
• Maintain safety and wellbeing of patients, Especially cardiac ICU Patient care.
• Provided professional care and assistance to all-aged patients in surgical and cardiac intensive care unit.
• Responsible to collect the investigations results and inform the doctors.
• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients in the ICU setting, Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and therapies prescribed by the physician.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, cardioversion, and pacing.
• Educate patients and families on disease process, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Serve as a resource to other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, Promote a positive working environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Demonstrate professional accountability and growth, Serve as a preceptor.
• Preparing the patient for CAG, PTCA, PPI and ICD insertion, RFA and CABG.
• Assisting ART line insertion, IABP central line, CVP line, And also its monitoring.
• Participating and demonstrating ACLS and BLS classes in every weak from superior cardiologists in our hospital .
I HAVE BLS and CPR,AED certificate by AHA
