Heading the Dairy Services of the company
The role ensures compliance of all accounting functions with generally accepted accounting principles, pronouncements and operating principles and procedures prescribed in the PCB’s Finance and Accounts Manual. It also ensures proven expertise in administration of systems of internal controls, budgeting and financial accounting, and management reporting. Experience of managing the accounting function in a computerized environment is a prerequisite for successful performance of this role. It also supervises and heads the Accounting Software implementation in PCB. Heading the Budget and Planning section of PCB. I am also coordinating with External Auditors, tax consultants and Software advisers on regular basis.
Directly Reportable to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and:
• Responsible for dealing with the banks and manage credit facilities for the company.
• Supervision of Finance, Costing and Budgeting and IT matters of the company.
• Involved in key management activities like Budget preparation, fund management, taxation matters, cash flow management, aging of receivables analysis, etc.
• Consolidation of trial balances at Divisional level.
• Involved in implementation of New ERP system in Adamjee Insurance Company.
• Approvals of Claims and commission cheques at entire Divisional level.
• Advance tax payments, in accordance with the prevailing Income tax Laws
Four years experience with A. F. Ferguson & Co, during which I have gathered extensive experience in performing management, financial and consultancy, statutory audits, limited reviews and ancillary services to various local and multinational clients both from manufacturing and services
