My key responsibilities are:
• Managing fleet operations for rental operations for generators ranging 20kVA to 1500kVA.
• Coordination with service department for smooth operation of onhire & offhire units.
• Application and technical support to sales team.
• Coordination with vendor for repair of alternator, engine, enclosure, fuel tanks, power & control panels, cables and other fleet attachments.
• Cost estimating and future induction of units in the fleet.
• Regular inspection of current fleet as per Caterpillar codes of equipment.
• Daily reporting of onhire units, offhire units and under repair units
• Making sure safety regulations and procedures compliance during workshop hours.
My key responsibilities are:
•Application and Installation activities on CAT-Olympian power generation products i.e(9kVA to 275kVA) having Perkins engine and coupled by FG Wilson with Leroy Somers Alternator. And CAT-EPG product i.e 275kVA to 1000kVA.
•Standardization, costing and updating sales engineers related to technical enhancement changes in consists of the gensets.
•Plan installation activities for complete installation of generators as per CAT standards for both commercial and domestic customers.
•Site visit for calculation of electrical load and local installation scope of work.
•Checking the costing of local scope of works, filling the cost sheet and highlight the discrepancies.
•Installation audits for the CATERPILLAR generators.
•Scope of work evaluation and vendor coordination for the smooth completion of projects.
•Working on the applications for the Diesel and Gas gensets from 10kVA to 1000kVA.
•Tender working i.e technical and financial proposals, compliance sheet and costing for the private and government tenders.
•Follow-up with Procurement and supplier for timely execution.
•Follow-up with vendors for installation activities till the completion of the project.
•Follow-up with service department for PDI of Indent units.
•Coordination to the customer for satisfactory working of installation activities.
•Manage AUTOCAD drawings for plan layout and make them understandable for the customer according to their requirements.
•Follow-up with service department for smooth commissioning of the gensets.
•CAT software applications for load analysis and genset sizing.
•Have accomplished projects for Habib Bank Limited, Unilever Pakistan, United Energy Pakistan, Muller & Phipps Pakistan, APNS, Shell Pakistan, SSGC, New Jubilee Insurance, OGDC, Sanofi Aventis, Avari Hotels, Gul Ahmed Textile, Tata Textile, TCS Pakistan, Khaadi.
•Including projects with multiple engine sync operation, paralleling with utility power.
Worked as a Service Engineer at MERCK Pakistan pvt ltd.
• As a Field services engineer to do the maintenance and technical services of biochemistry analyzers of (Microlab200, Microlab300, Selectra Junior, Selectra E, Selectra XL), Hematology analyzers(Medonic M series, Medonic CA series, Urine(Uriscan ProII) and electrolyte testing & diagnostic machines.
• Troubleshooting of the main circuit boards and microprocessors boards used for the controlling and operations of diagnostics analyzers.
• Rectify faults in photometry system operated automated and semi-automated analyzers.
Workshop - 2009 Completed a three day workshop of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) at Mehran University Of Engineering & Technology in April 2009. Internee - 2009 Work as an internee at Pakistan Telecom Limited (Hyd) in Jan 2009. familiar with BSC,MSC and other exchange works Internee - 2009 Work as an internee at Sui Southern Gas Company (Hyd) in Jan 2009. familiar with the LPG plant and SCADA system implied there Training - 2008 Completed 05 weeks Training Course of “Control Technology” from Pakistan Council Of Scientific and Industrial Research-PCSIR (PSTC) in July 2008 The course contents: -PLC's (PLC Programming) -Pneumatic Systems -Electro-Pneumatic Systems -Electro-Hydraulic Systems Internee - 2008 Work as an internee at Pakistan International Airlines in July ,2008. In the following areas of work: -Electrical Overhaul Shop -Instrument Overhaul Shop -Radio Overhaul Shop -Boeing And Airbus Line Maintenance Workshop - 2007 Attended a workshop on “Wireless networks and Sensors” held at Mehran UET in April, 2007 Workshop - 2007 Attended a workshop on “Instrumentation Interface Design For Automation And Industry” held at Mehran, UET in September, 2007. Learned the use of Microcontroller. and made some microcontroller based Projects. Training - 2007 Completed a course of “Microcontroller and Its Industrial Applications” from Pakistan Skill Development Council in July, 2007.
