• Analyze all suppliers and subcontractors in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Prepare Material submittal to be approved by client.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
• Negotiate and modify contract conditions to ensure company benefits and minimize risk.
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
• Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
• Perform regular evaluation and performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinating and managing the “Set up” phase of any number of projects at the same time for Jaguar-Land rover Business.
• Design the process flow and eliminate waste.
• Coordinates various departments performing multiple activities while managing deadlines, people and costs.
• Designation of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis “FMEA” for new projects.
• Using problem solving approach to sort out any issues that pop up during project launch.
• Responsible for any change management for running production.
• Ensure the implementation of one piece flow and Kan-Ban systems.
• Ensure the reflection of the QMS (Quality Management Systems) during project introduction to comply with the ISO TS Standards.
