Search, pre-screen, and present shortlisted CVs to the HR manager, regarding the hiring of new staff for the university (this includes high management such as branch director for the university’s branches, academic, administration staff).
Mange interview schedule for the interview committee with local and overseas candidates. This includes preparation and coordination of the interview schedule and events of the day, in addition taking minutes.
Drafting the official memo to the board of Trustee regarding the hiring and renewal of contracts of the branches’ directors.
Preparing and drafting reports for the board of Trustee.
Draft job offers, contracts, and negotiating with the candidates, (include academic and admin staff, and branch directors).
Manage on boarding of the candidates to ensure a smooth transition to Kuwait and the university.
Arranging and planning travel business trips for overseas locations for the high management.
Coordinating and managing relationships with HR officers in AOU 9 branches in different Arab countries, regarding their personnel annual raises, new hiring, updating policies and any other request concern their personnel.
Auditing the financial budget and highlighting the change in the payroll regarding new hiring.
Preparing the annual budget with coordination of the financial department.
Preparing the report of the annual raise for the employees to be approved by the university’s president.
Responsible for the regular maintaining and scanning of all personnel documentation and records on Mena HR system to ensure accurate record keeping.
Responsible for HR committee (preparing the items, taking minutes, and issuing and executing the committee’s decisions).
Drafting announcement and decision to be implemented by the university’s staff in the HQ & branches, which is issued by the board of trustee and other committees.
Assisting the HR director in updating the university’s policies and regulations, creating job description handbook, and creating a new salary scale that suit the 9 branches in different Arab countries.
Coordinating and following up with legal office regarding the labor cases and any other legal issues.
Knowledge of labor law in 9 different Arab countries, including Kuwait.
Other duties as assigned by the HR Director.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization and its nine branches.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and execute university events, meetings, and special projects.
Uphold strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documents.
