Provided significant contribution to the achievement of ISO Certifications (ISO 9001, ISO, 14001, ISO 18001, and ISO 45001) of New Image Building Services Gulf State. Initiated the near-miss campaign program for NIBS resulting in increased reporting of near-miss incidents which lead to a lower accident frequency rate for the 2021 Operation period.
Activities
performed: ✓ Carry out regular site safety audits and report and correct unsafe work practices and
potential hazards.
✓ Investigate and report all accidents including near miss incidents and recommend
preventative measures.
✓ Maintain records of all injuries and damage on site and submit reports as required.
✓ Supervise all subcontractors for safe system of work.
✓ Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Control of Substance Hazardous to Health
(COSHH) for all chemicals stored, or written instructions or map of the location within the
building where the MSDS and COSHH can be found.
✓ Prepare and Submit monthly report.
✓ Will ensure that all employees receive safety training which is appropriate to the need of
their job or location.
✓ Attend weekly supervisors meeting and discuss accident prevention techniques and safety
performance.
✓ Ensure maintenance of good hygiene standards and availability of first aid treatment.
✓ Advise field supervision on safe working methods.
✓ Enforce the observance of the Work Permit procedure.

performed: ✓ Conduct training, inspection and audit on monthly basis to monitor site safety performance.
✓ Enforce the use of applicable personal protective equipment.
✓ Take action for unsafe conditions immediately when they arise.
✓ Attend weekly supervisors meeting.
✓ Set a personal example.
✓ Assists safety engineer for site safety requirements.
✓ Conduct daily toolbox talks and site inspection.
✓ Identify hazards and assess risks.
✓ Communicate the safety and health requirements to managers, supervisors and workers on
site.
✓ Carry out general inspection or investigate potential hazards on notice to the employees.
