• Financial Controller Scope of Work:
A- The primary objective of the job
To be responsible for enforcing financial control measures in all university activities for DA-sponsored University.
B- Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Strategic planning budgets, cash flow
2- Monitor the University’s financial performance in terms of sustainability
3- Make Fees and cost financial analysis, and develop financial models to help explain their projections for the University’s financial success in the coming months.
4- Conduct regular visits to universities to ensure proper financial control measures are enforced and report back to upper management with findings.
5- Work with the heads of the University to decide how to optimize the systems and make full ERP for all the university activities.
6- Member of the Audit Committee
7- Ensure compliance with university council-approved policies, plans operational & development projects, and procedures, Audit management letter as well as, laws, and regulations issued by the Government that could have significant impacts on operations and reports
8- Coordinate between the university and all other DA departments
9- Interview with the University Financial controller then follow up with HR to hire him and give him training and guidance.
10- Follow up on the University Financial controller's daily and monthly tasks and solve his issues.
11- Review the fund requests of AEDT, Premiere Bank, and Kafaat and monitor the repayment loan.
Any other task has been given by DA management like visit the Islamic University of Niger and presented the report
