In my most recent position as a founding partner at QUNSULT International, I am responsible for the general management of the company & coordinating projects & assignments among company’s partners & Independent Partners; of course with overlooking/performing some of the advisory, business development, policies & procedures improvement, and investment & risk management projects.

I was invited & joined TID with the goal to streamline the investment process, automate the monitoring & reporting, and to restructure & diversify the investment portfolio, in addition to several departments such as DMD (Diligence & Monitoring), RnA (Research & Analysis) & PFS (Private Financial Services). I also dealt with support services depts.; however, due to world financial crisis & company’s huge debt problem - all projects were cancelled as a result - while dealing with crisis management issues & difficult business situations.
Joined GIH in June 2004 where I have successfully restructured and managed the direct investments portfolio including the establishment of two companies (a real estate investment co. named Mada’in in UAE - geographical diversification & an industrial investment co. named Afkar in Kuwait - sector expansion). In establishing Afkar, I headed the feasibility study performed by Moore Stephens; while at the same time performing due-diligence & investing in several industrial opportunities in Kuwait, Bahrain, & KSA. I also listed Tameer (now innovest) on both Bahrain & Kuwait Stock Exchanges & Arkan RE on KSE. I also organized and standardized the pre and post investment process with periodic monitoring & reporting for investment & risk management.
* Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University at State College, PA in December, 1987 (with a 3.14 GPA). * English Proficiency from the University of Pittsburgh (Dec. 1982). HONORS AND SUMMER ACTIVITIES * Three semesters on Dean’s List (Fall 1983, & Spring of 1984 & 1987). * Computer Science (summer 1981) and Electronics (summer 1980) at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Researches (KISR).
