Underwriter & Accounts in Charge (Medical and Life Department)
➢ In charge of quoting for all renewals & new businesses (for both medical & Life), which is including the medical underwriting and dealing with the clients in this regard.
➢ Coordinating with the reinsurers for the cases that should be referred to them as per the treaties, in addition to the when the risk doesn't fall under treaties conditions the leader rates are on the high side.
➢ Monthly claims analyze per policy/portfolio so we can find out solutions in order to keep the loss ratio under control.
➢ Preparing the monthly & yearly reports/statistics for the reinsurer, Health Authorities and the financial reports for internal & external auditors for direct & co-insurance business under medical & life classes.
➢ Supervision & Coordinating the day to day tasks of the Underwriting / Policy Issuance section i.e. preparing any required information/ details/ documents/ certificates, processing the additions & deletions after doing proper underwriting when needed, and any other required tasks.
➢ Time management and assures that each staff is doing the delegated tasks in the most efficient way in order to meet the targeted deadlines and KPIs.
➢ Coordinating with Finance & IT departments in addition to the Claims & Networking Sections of the Medical Department.
➢ Dealing with clients / brokers regarding matters related to U/W & Policy Issuance / services.
