IT Technical Support Engineer:

I am responsible about all information technology activities of a big branch and its all buildings and support all employees in this branch and introduce all IT services for all within the company SAL.

Key responsibilities:

- Installing and configuring client/server computer Operating systems.
- Responding to employees IT support requests.
- Resolving any IT issue upon employee ticket.
- Conduct meetings with employees to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
- Providing technical support on-site or via remote access systems.
- Offering solutions that meet the needs of the employees.
- Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking issues.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining of branch network connections via wireless or VPN.
- installation, configuration of new IT systems. handle IT incidents using Microsoft system center as a ticketing system.
- Motioning system, hardware and network performance to avoid any interrupt during rush hours.
- Install and configure any new system.
- Bring technical and financial offers for any new system or to upgrade existing one.
- Bring quotations to get any new hardware or software and compare to choose the best one of quality and price.
- Install and configure software updates for all computers.
- Install and configure updates for all client operating system for all employees.
- Maintain Laptops, desktops, printers in all branch buildings.

Duties as IT Specialist:-

-Implementing and installing internal local area network.
-Implementing Linking Branches of customers using VPN or Wireless networking.
-Installing, Implementing, Administering Servers hardware and software Microsoft windows server 2003, 2008, 2012 operating systems.
- Installing and Implementing Control Soft ERP system on site of customers.
-Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing, SPAM, etc.)
-Configure and setup Cisco Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and Security appliances for access to vital business applications.
-Design, setup and configure complex switching environments
-Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications
-Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking
-Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, WINS, Channel (Bonding), etc.
-Configuring and installing client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunication systems.
-Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
-Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
-Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

JOB Duties


- Data collecting and analysis by SWOT analysis with departments managers of Jeddah Municipality.
- Designing Balanced Score Cards for each departments of Jeddah Municipality to be the facility to measure the performance of each departments.
- Create the BSC's elements perspectives, objectives, sub objectives, KPI's, sub KIP's.
- Programming BSC's with its components in the Performance Management Software.
- Introduce end user training to the advocate of every BSC to collect and enter data of monthly KPI's.
- Introduce Manager level training to managers of Departments to explain the dash board of its department to help the manager to know the performance of its department and help him in decision making.
- Introduce full presentation about the Performance Management System to the Mayor of Jeddah Municipality.
- Working on Integration between the Performance Management System with other systems in Jeddah Municipality.
- Extracting custom managerial reports from the performance management system using Cognos Reports BI Tools.

Job Duties:
- Maintain ERP systems (ASWAQ 6, ONYX PRO) and introduce training to company users.
- Linking between company branches in Jeddah using wireless point to point network to link all branches with head office of the company.
- Maintain all PC’s for every week.
- Install, configure and update antivirus for all PC’s
- Configure and maintain the local network.
- Making periodical system backup and restore if need.
- Making periodical Database backup and restore if required.
- Install and maintain hardware
- Deploy and monitor database servers
- Plan application and data provisioning
- Configure server operating system services.
