Responsible for whole UNB corporate credit department in UAE and offshore units in Egy., China, Qatar and Kuwait, reporting to EVP - CRM.
Responsible of handling assigned corporate portfolio in terms of risk / quality / growth & profitability. Directly responsible for risk management / marketing and solicitation of new corporate relationships for both assets & liabilities. The responsibilities encompass the efficient & effective management of colleagues. Advise clients on financial plans utilizing knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, and real estate. Duties include assessing clients' assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives to establish investment strategies.
Reporting: Directly report to the Division Head and jointly reporting to the Head of Corporate Banking Group Among the assigned tasks are: -Ensure the quality of portfolio is maintained, with no direct credit losses, through the on-going risk analysis & close monitoring of relationships. -Directly responsible for attending & presenting credit proposals to credit committee. -Develop marketing plan to identify the accepted industries & the prospective corporate relationships. -Ensure high level of corporate clients’ satisfaction. -Maximize profitability, achieve business growth and targeted market share as per predetermined objectives. -Pro-act to changes in market place. -Ensure all documentation is valid and complete in assigned portfolio. -Be highly responsive to customer needs & provide competitive market information and advice. Portfolio is diversified as follows : -Contracting Finance -Electrical House Appliances. -Packaging & Plastic Industries. -Petrochemical. -Vehicles selling / leasing & Auto parts. -Security & Cleaning Services. -Food Products Manufacturers / Dealer -Air-Conditioning Systems. -Metal. Job Description Responsible for evaluation and assessment of the presented credit packages, submitting risk assessment report. Reporting: Reporting to the DGM & Head of Risk Assessment Department Among the assigned tasks are: • Checking the reliability of the financial figures provided. • Assessment of the related financial and business risk. • Processing and updating the intrinsic rating of the file according to the changes in the country risk and the new instructions of the H.O. • Amending the qualitative analysis of the file and the sector. • Submitting risk assessment report and Attending credit committees to present risk opinion to the committee members. • Handling any questions, inquiries & illustrations with the H.O. till receiving the final approval on the file. • Reporting the final (Local/H.O.) approvals to Corporate Department. • Preparing an analysis and risk reports about the risk exposure of each customer. • Assessment of the related financial and business risk of the different industry sectors and maintains industry average for each. • Using financial analysis model. • Updating the sectors financial analysis quarterly for the entire Bank's portfolio
