*Demonstrate and use expert knowhow of the entire MEP part of construction projects in all its aspects like design, function, installations and coordination with other trades
* Coordinate the MEP design and execution between design office and contractors/subcontractors
* Provide the planning input for the MEP works and Monitor Planning vs. Progress on site
* Document projects progress and/or delays through letters which can be used as contractual aids during disputes
* Lead and control the document flows
* Review resource reports like (manpower histograms, plant and machinery schedule) and ascertain adequacy of resources deployed for timely completion of the project
* Review and certify the monthly invoicing of the contractors/subcontractors
* Ensure collection of all receivables from contractors and clients
* Audit the performance of MEP subcontractors
* Implement/follow proper QA/QC procedures by maintaining and following Project QA/QC Manual
* Lead technical coordination meetings with subcontractors and project staff
* Provide technical input for offer requests and the awarding of MEP subcontracts to the contracts, procurement departments
* Adept in and aware of International and Local Building Codes of all MEP Systems, and liaise with local authorities
* Have hands on experience on the procurement, installation and testing & commissioning of all MEP Systems
* Lead and monitor a team of Mechanical and Electrical Managers, engineers at Site.
* Oversee and enforce the implementation of HSE by MEP Contractors.
* Perform all post tender activities of construction until the handing over and completion of the defects liability period of the project

Al-Amal Psychiatric Hospital MEP Works Cost 192 M AED.
Al-Amal Hospital 54000 sq. meter 275 beds, 7 buildings connected in spine lobby and 8 half way villas, in addition to huge landscape area with ancillary and utilities buildings, a unique comprehensive psychiatric care, the first kind hospital in UAE, its built followed best international standards as well as green building standards, it includes clinics, lobby and reception, rehabilitation, therapeutic sections, emergency, intensive care units, pharmacies, laboratory, radiology section, kitchen area, and others, a 19 Mega KVA, 13 transformers, 3200 Ton Ref air cooled chillers with 54 AHUs, 270 FCUs, with plate heat exchanger recovery system, full fire protection system, sprinklers, hose reel cabinets, and fire hydrants, cold and hot water supply and solar water system, all low current systems, and a huge external infrastructure drainage, storm water, STP plant, electrical LV, ELV, chilled water network, fire fighting network, medical gas network, …etc.
