1. Managing the Technical & MEP Department duties.
2. Handling all issues related to the facility management services including all maintenance, security and cleaning for the operated buildings.
3. Implement successfully Emaar’s property development plan and strategy and optimize development revenue to ensure best shareholder returns are achieved.
4. Plan, organize, resource, lead and monitor the assigned project to ensure that the project is delivered within agreed time, cost and specification.
5. Contribute in managing interfaces with consultants, contractors, suppliers and engineers and in identifying operating risks of each development so that Emaar achieves its profit objectives, incurs no financial losses and meets its development compliance objectives.
6. Monitor the Project Master Plan in coordination with the main Consultant and provide instructions to update on a regular basis to reflect current project status against agreed plans and initiate corrective action when necessary to ensure maximum efficiency, cost effectiveness and competitiveness.
7. Manage, follow and supervise the design and construction of infrastructural utilities located within and surround the site include; power substation, sewer treatment plant, storm water, sewage networks, telecommunication, street lighting, MV network, irrigation and fire fighting.
8. Oversee the preparation of a testing and commissioning program, handover phases of the project, warranties and guarantees to ensure that the project is managed in the most efficient and economic way to minimize both cost of money and services complexity.
9. Keep abreast of business and technical developments in the building / construction industry and its markets as a basis for planning and managing change, stimulating customers and ensuring the Company’s success and business viability against competition.
10. Assists in monthly cost reports and cost control activities.
11. Review/approve payment applications from Contractors and Consultants and process the same for further action.
12. Technical department monthly report preparation.
13. Participates in meetings as require.
14. Closely monitor the daily activities on site and visit the site as required.
15. Assesses and reports on the performance of Consultants and Contractors at the completion of each project.
1. Engineering: Checking materials and drawings submittals by scrutinizing the contents to assure specifications compliance.
2. Site supervision with inspection of material on site prior to Installation and after installation.
3. Directing the site inspectors for work inspection and approval.
4. Quality controlling of material & works as per the approved submittal and shop drawing.
5. Following up work progress to achieve projects planes.
6. Attending progress and coordination weekly meetings.
7. Review the Interim Payments, VO’s, and process them.
1. Pipe line work, drainage and water supply from the central pump station to main Palace, main Substation and main Laundry.
2. The irrigation pipe line network from the main network to the main to the main Palace.
3. The water supply, drainage and fire fighting of 57 Guard House buildings around all the CPH project area.
4. Handling the work on site, coordinating with other related Packages, preparing of shop drawings, submittals, RFI’s and as built drawings.
5. Managing a qualified team of Forman, Gang leaders and skilled workers.
