Branch manager for Gulf Survey company in the field of geotechnical investigation and construction materials testing in addition to topographic and geophysical surveys.
Managing more than 150 staff including civil engineers, geologists, geophysicists, drillers, technician...etc. My role of management is not limited to the following: -preparing yearly department strategic plan. budgeting and cost control, preparing large tenders and proposals for site investigation works, performing financial analysis including drilling and maintenance costs. Marketing company and department services in Qatar and other countries. Following up productivity of all staff in both field and office. Attend technical and negotiation meetings. Preparing department and large projects organization charts. Deal with critical technical issues as required. Take care of customers and their satisfaction. Make in house training for the new staff. Adding new services to the department. Motivating staff and improving their skills. The technical skills are not limited to:-Writing factual and interpretive reports. checking and approval of geotechnical and geophysical reports.
Calculation of bearing capacity for both deep and shallow foundation. Slope stability analysis.
Geophysical investigation surface and borehole including seismic refraction, electrical tomography, seismic surface wave, micro gravity, full wave sonic, P & S logging, borehole resistivity. Geological engineering and tunneling.
Analysis of field and laboratory tests results and choosing the geotechnical design parameters.
Carrying out several research projects on gravel material, pavement engineering, pavement management, assets management, transportation engineering, and soil mechanics.

Review/ prepare the mechanically stabilized earth wall design and supervise the execution

Supervise the boreholes drilling

Supervise lab testing work and review lab results
Advice the management team regarding various geotechnical issues
Participate in preparing new tenders document, technical and financial proposal

Supervise Asphalt lab testing (marshal and superpave, modified bitumen) and review the lab reports
Prepare and review delay analysis reports, weekly, monthly, look ahead progress reports as required showing the forecast dates.

Prepare special studies reports such as: a) pavement evaluation using different procedures (Paver, FHWA, SHRP, CSHRP). b) Existing building structural evaluation analysis and design.
Testing of concrete repair material and supervise the structural repair of mega project.
Provide technical advice for the concrete structural repair methodology and material usage.
Managing, planning, design and design reviews, reporting of projects, method statements.
Supervise the nondestructive testing for concrete like pull-off, pull out and welding non-destructive testing, pipelines testing.
Coordinating with the Client and all concerned authorities.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
