targets during project life cycle.
• Monitoring project progress and track to make sure that the project is
on time and within Budget cost, and when necessary, address
deviations, delays and variations in coordination with controls team.
• Contracts management, payments, and variations management with
commercial team.
• Manage Engineering deliverables in coordination with Field
Engineering team (multi disciplines).
• Managing and tracking procurement deliverables in coordination with
procurement team.

Scope
Project (Controls Field
− Initiating, reviewing, approving hydrostatic testing files, systems dossiers and
close out reports at the end of the project,
− Involved in end-to-end management of project activities related to
construction, field engineering, and procurement and subcontracting in
compliance to project delivery schedules and other SLA parameters.
− Focus on field engineering activities encompassing preparation of material
take off, material requisitions and rendering site technical support in
addition to permanent material batching/control (Multi disciplines).
− Involved in end-to-end management of the field engineering team for
evaluating drawings and issuing technical queries for designers based on
identified deviations and conflicts.
− Guide team members in preparing shop drawings for smooth conversion
between engineering drawings and construction.
− Interact with clients, construction team and project management team
aimed at seamless implementation of field engineering process.
− Maintain updated status of engineering documents with latest revisions
of the drawings, specifications at construction sites.
− Assess project requirements for close out associated to final invoice.
Define and implement procedures during construction and pre
commissioning stage. Involved in recruitment, grooming and mentoring
team members to cater to the construction management teams.
− Build up Engineering team based on projects Engineering multi
disciplines scope and follow up deployment process against dates
required on site.
− Work on material, procurement and subcontracts management scope
across procurement and subcontract department from field engineering
prospective.
− Maintain updated status of subcontracts QS and invoicing and client
invoices using approved method of measurements and unit rates.
− Maintain updated documentation of project lessons learnt and other
status reports for the senior management to enable effective decision
making.
− Participate when necessary, the HS&E Meetings and implement
necessary HS&E requirements to Engineering documents when
necessary,
− Participate brain storm meetings and sharing best knowledge in latest
developed constructions methods, in addition to sharing lessons learned
which affected concerns.
C- CONTRACTS, PROCUREMENT AND MATERIAL MANAGEMENT
− Define and implement procedures for identification and procurement under
different contracts, procurement, and variation orders.
− Involved in development of check lists, particular terms and conditions,
formats for commercial and price schedules for each inquiry.
− Update vendor lists based on project requirements (list of plant, and
machinery to be procured) followed by development of project specific
procurement plan.
− Guide the Project Management team on financial implications with respect
to major changes, such as pricing, costing, systems integration and process re
engineering optimize resource utilization and implement cost control
measures across all functions of the project.
− participated in vendor negotiations and vendors and finalize orders in
compliance to Delegation Authority Matrix.
− Involved in identification of best sources for products, obtaining & evaluating
pre-qualification documents prior to sending the same for approval.
− Collate periodic informal feedback from Expeditors, Project Engineers &
Discipline Engineers on vendor performance and other related factors.
D- CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT INCLUDING EXECUTION AND
INSPECTION:
− Direct Execution inspect f o r oil and Gas mechanical scope including but not
limited to;
1- Tank farms fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning (Water, oil,
LNG, ...),
2- Different types of pipelines process and utility types passing through
miscellaneous geographical locations (Water, sewage, storm, Gas ) from
design, right of way, stringing, excavation, welding, laying, tie ins,
cleating, testing, flushing and commissioning scopes at site)
3- Steel structure/canopies/pipe racks, bridges fabrication and erection,
4- Equipment Fab, assembly and erection at site including testing and
commissioning, specifically for mega projects concentrating in mechanical
scope of work
− Manage and follow up with various support teams in ensuring construction
work (piping, steel structure, steel tanks, equipment, pipelines ) in
compliance to delivery schedule, contract specifications and conditions for
mechanical work.
− Render support to construction contractors in setting up construction
schedule, agreeing on construction sequences utilizing materials, engineering
deliverables, tools, and resources.
− Prepare and maintain organization chart for the construction team and
ensure compliance
− To project and corporate HSE procedures. Manage Quantity surveying
activities, work
− variations and change orders for mechanical work (Piping, Pipe lines, Steel,

− Evaluate drawings, technical documents and prepare work shop drawings for
piping and steel structures drawings in addition to welding, hydro testing
documents.
− Work on construction of large storage tanks, spheres, process piping, pipe
racks, sheds, skids, and machineries, fabrication of offshore platforms, jackets,
helpdesks, and offshore permanent berth facilities as well as national and
international pipelines.
