Aqua Raffles hotel and residential towers:
Raffles Jeddah features 182 guestrooms and 117 branded residences. The
property will offer special wedding suites for newlyweds, as well as a
penthouse-level entertainment suite and a 1, 200 square meter spa with eight
treatment rooms and a fitness club. The hotel also has state-of-the-art event
and meeting facilities, including a 1, 500 square meter ballroom overlooking the
corniche and 1, 000 square meters of meeting space and guests will enjoy a
choice of six restaurants and lounges.
Properties development through initiating new projects that create new facilities to generate revenue or upgrading existing facilities to enhance the revenue collected.
I was responsible for representing Naseel in attendance of Projects' workshops and meetings, advising on the architectural aspects of projects, taking part in the management of certain projects in the company’s program and reporting to higher management.

Responsibilities:
• Supervising Architectural and Interior subcontractors’ performance and coordination of disciplines.
• Carry out surveillance on safety, workmanship, quality and schedule and assures that results are in full compliance with contract requirements.
• Liaise with Field Engineering Manager team to ensure resolution of construction technical issues and queries.
• Implement Zero accident philosophy and ensures that the requirements of the project ES&H policy are adhered too.
• Ensure that the housekeeping of the work areas are at all time neat, clean and tidy.
• Ensure that the coordination of work with the works of other subcontractors and between disciplines.
• Understand architectural and interiors detailing with a high degree of complexity and high level of finishes.
• Attend meetings as required by the Resident Engineer.
• Provides initial technical reviews of drawings, product data, material samples, inspection reports, delivery schedules, instruction manuals, contractors shop drawings and technical data to assure compliance with the requirements.
• Monitor adherence of Contractor to accepted shop drawings, product data, materials samples, and technical data and to ensure compliance with the requirements.
• Monitor actual work performance compared to the project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and Method Statements and ensure all tests are carried out as required.
• Provide technical assistance and background information in relation to Field Design Changes, Trend Notices and Claims (when raised by the Contractor).
Supervision of new Housing Bank for Trade and Finance headquarters, a modern, iconic design and among a handful of buildings in Amman created under the current sustainable design guidelines with total area of 110, 000 m².
Responsibilities:
• Review of submittals, specialized on-site / off-site inspections, testing and commissioning, including contractor design drawings, shop drawings, materials and alternative proposals submitted by contractors.
• Ensure that all statutory authority NOC’s / permits / design approvals are available on site for construction.
• Ensure that the main contractor and nominated contractor(s) coordinate with all concerned authorities departments and ensure that their requirements are adequately and satisfactorily incorporated.
• Extend the maximum possible effort to avoid contractor(s) claims for cost and/or delay.
• Review and forward any comments on all submittals including contractor design drawings, shop drawings, materials and alternative proposals submitted by contractors.
• Conduct regular (daily) site visits and supervise, certify the installation of architectural works ensuring compliance with the contract documents.
• Review and forward any comments on the contractor’s method statement for installation, execution of the works.
• Review and forward any comments on the contractor’s testing and commissioning plan / procedures / method statements.
• Review and forward any comments on the contractor’s technical submittals.
• Attend site technical coordination meetings to discuss contractor (s) submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction related matters
• Review and forward any comments on the Technical Query’s raised by the contractor.
• Routine Inspection of the works carried out by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practice.
• Inspect the mock-up, permanent works, on-site and off-site materials to be used in the project and organize field and laboratory tests, conducted by others, on construction materials to ascertain their compliance with the specifications and determine the acceptability for use on the project.
• Raise non-conformance notices (NCNs)/reports; site inspections notices (SINs) identify quality deficiencies.
• Review the corrective actions proposed by the contractor, respond / follow ups and close out procedure
• Any potential safety concerns identified at site reported to site SHSEE / PM/RE.
• Review the site progress and assist in the review of the contractor’s interim payment application.
• Monitor the progress of the work against the approved contractor program of works
USAID Jordan Schools Construction & Rehabilitation Program.I worked on Finishing Items of Phase 4 of this program which included building eleven new high caliber schools in Jordan.
Responsibilities:
• Detail design issues, tender documents, specifications and site follow up.
• Coordinating with structural engineers, building services engineers, infrastructure and other specialists.
• Liaising with Senior Design Architect on a regular basis regarding progress, design, quality, resources, changes, site issues, planning issues.
• Participate in selection of materials, furniture systems and specifications.
•Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, materials, and detailing submitted for approval.
•Review and inspect the contractor’s work to ensure that both the design intent and the quality of workmanship and materials are achieved in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
