SPT is an OEM dedicated to serving the Surface Preparation Requirements of the Industry, manufacturing everything from Auto Shot Blasting Machines to Dust Collectors and Conveyor System; all with an aim to automate the Surface Preparation Industry across the globe. With a team of over 300 strong, I work with SPT towards achieving the best results with our value based engineering solutions to counter the industry’s corrosion problem.
Job Responsibilities & Contributions-
Technical Sales and Proposals for Capital Equipment-
• Generate enquiries and develop new clients to achieve sales goals
• Handle capital equipment enquiries from bidding to award
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations
• Build relations with client’s process owners
• Provide complete sales support to MD’s office
• Product pricing and sales strategy
• Provide Technical Clarifications and support to Clients
• Represent the company and its products through Presentations, Introductions, and at meetings with Clients
• Actively manage and develop the growth of key products
Projects-
• Handle multiple projects from post-award to completion.
• Assure profitability and timely completion of Projects.
• Estimate and Control Project Cost
• Perform Planning duties for projects
• Co-ordinate with production, painting & electrical department on scope of work and project deliverables
• Liaise with the client and consultant on project deliverables and updates
• Direct report from a team of Engineers, Draftsmen and Site Supervisors
• Direct report to Managing Director and General Manager
• Oversee subcontracts for Bought out Items/Services
• Prepare the Bill of Quantities, MTO
• Resolve technical/non-technical queries (pre-award and post-award) raised by the clients
• Assist logistics dept with loading and dispatch plans
• Resolve any problems that arise during the project life cycle
• Close the project upon completion with relevant documentation
• Teach and mentor Graduate Engineer Trainees
• Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required
• Deliver Workshops and Training programs on Renewable Energy and Green Technologies
• Mentor, guide and manage IDPs, includes projects in water management and rural development
• Assist Management with conceptualization and strategizing new business initiatives
