I am currently working as a Project Manager with Cyber Internet Services Private Limited (CYBERNET), one of the largest internet and data service providers in Pakistan, offering a range of connectivity options to its enterprise clients from fixed line, GPON (FTTx), Metro-ethernet and DSL, to wireless solutions such as Radio and Wimax based services. The company also operates two VSAT Ground stations by iDirect and ECC (now part of Viasat) to provide connectivity to the far reaches of Pakistan. My job responsibilities include:
•Managing and leading the project team.
•Recruiting project staff, consultants, partners and vendors.
•Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work.
•Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.
•Assisting legal team in preparing, negotiating and handling legal contracts involved in the project.
•Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
•Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
•Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.
•Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
•Monitoring project progress and performance.
•Providing status reports to the project sponsor.
•Managing project training within the defined budget.
•Liaison with, and updates progress to, project steering board/senior management.
•Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities.
•Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.
•Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs.
•Management of the User Acceptance Testing program.
•Identifying user training needs and devising and managing user training programs
I worked as a Senior Network Pre-Sales Engineer with DWP Technologies (Private) Limited, Cisco Gold partner in Pakistan and my job responsibilities include:
•Requirement analysis of different sales queries
•Carry out Network Pre-Sales meetings
•Design Network Infrastructure (Switching, Routing & Security)
•Provide Pricing for different sales queries
•Schedule deployment activities
•Align resources for the deployment of the project
•Prepare Service Level Agreements (SLA) for the clients
•Costing and Budgeting of the SLA
•Handle support contracts (Cisco SmartNets and Shared Supports)
•Interaction with local vendors and suppliers
•Prepare and maintain Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and yearly sales reports
•Prepare reports of Pre-Sales team performance for evaluation
•Prepare reports of Sales team performance for evaluation
