Prior to moving into FMCG under bread production, i worked for most of my years in the mining industry as a shift maintenance electrician. I have come to appreciate the electrical energy as the source of drive in any economy. Working under a mining environment with an intake of Medium high voltage of 33kV/11kV substation. Scaling down to 220v and or 110v for most control circuits. As an electrician at a mine, the life of almost all the people present would be in your hands considering that ventilation, lifting equipment, air conditioning and even the mining activities do not happen without the hand of an electrician. Maintaining ventilation fans, heavy lifting equipment, traffic control lights, lighting, electric motors down to miniature control circuits. I did it using electrical.power measuring instruments. Now in the FMCG industry, most of the machines work in Automation, hence my appreciation of SCADA control Systems and PLC integration.
