Consists of helping customers to find what they are looking for in the establishments and trying to interest them in buying the merchandise.
• Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, messages and courier deliveries;
• File and maintain records;
• Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations;
• Hear and resolve complaints from customers and public;
• Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments;
• Transmit information or documents to customers, using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
• Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment;
• Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise;
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers;
• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs;
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices;
- Dining room service according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards
- Handling of Customer Complaints
- Safety and cleanliness of front of house staff and customer areas
- Ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
- Training, Supervision and Management of waiting staff
- Creating a harmonious environment among all staff within the restaurant
- Planning for future development of facilities and service improvements
