- Jointly developed, scheduled, and led a complex Programme of approx. 7.000 repeated and one-off Events / Activations, ready to be implemented across 19 venues during Expo’s 173 days period.
- Enhanced the Program’s diversity by planning activations across all Entertainment/Edutainment/Sports fields.
- Built strategies to drive repeat visitation of the expected 19 million domestic and international visitors, whilst also targeting a world-class and cost-efficient delivery of all projects.
- Converted all new and existing concepts into detailed project plans inclusive of clear deliverables/KPIs directly targeting overall Engagement, also via thorough budgeting of logistics and general resources; Maximized efficiency by pre-assessing the relevant content, marketing, operational and commercial extends.
- Generated multiple sets of risk management, policies/procedures and function-wide collaboration frameworks.
- Accelerated the coordination of external agencies, internal teams and wider Expo 2020 stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end delivery of the curated, co-curated and 3rd party Events to be hosted within the Venue’s public spaces.
- Fostering acceleration, effective design and flawless delivery of multiple Event Projects and Technology ventures.
- Clientele (to date): R.I.C.S. World Built Environmental Forum, Eberus 3D, Noise Events, Falcon & Associates.
- Exceeded the P&L targets for 10 consecutive years, by developing strategies, programming, end-to-end directing and delivering the annual national Sports Projects & Marketing Plans.
- Delivered a sevenfold (in average) R.O.I. for over 120 Experiential, Spectator, Participatory, Marketing/Audience Capture, Engagement and Media Event Projects, each budgeted within the €4K to €2.1M range; Pioneered as Project Leader for the same, navigating through and securing excellency across all production, concept / content, logistics, communication, commercial and market outreach / impact related deliverables
- Expanded (to 47) and directed the roster of associated Athletes / Sports Teams, exceeding Performance KPIs and maximizing relevant activations’ reach to the local and international market.
- Facilitated an average of 8% cost-saving annually across all Department’s activities, by designing and enforcing a “Fit Organization” Scheme, mentoring a team of 6 permanent and multiple occasionally employed staff.
- Indicative list of International Event projects: X-Fighters Athens, Cliff Diving World Series Athens, Robbie Maddison Corinth Canal Jump, Flugtag Athens, Art of Motion series, Mind Gamers series, Player One Champ, amongst others.
- Formed and mobilized multiple Creative and Production teams to successfully plan and deliver Operations, Venue Management and Services, acting as F.A. Director / Head for several sizable Entertainment Projects.
- Created and applied Resources Management tools, slashing costs for Clients by an average of 16% per project.
- Indicative list of projects: U.E.F.A. Champions League/Athens Final (T.E.A.M.), George Michael Athens Concert (Le Spot Productions), Blues Brothers Athens Concert (Vertigo Productions), “Earth” Athens Series (Innersence Productions), amongst others.
- Built and delivered the Event Services Operational Project Plan for the full Games Schedule and across all 37 competition venues, while showcasing a notably cost-efficient Departmental operation.
- Led and mentored the Precinct and Venue Managers during pre and Games-Time periods.
- Conceptualized and successfully applied the "Consistency Initiative" framework which led to top-line and same-level experience and services delivery across all fields of operation.
- Negotiated resolution of conflicts among all key departments including Venue Planning, Accreditation, Marketing Services, Merchandising, Transport, Ticketing and Security towards an effective Services activation.
- Excelled as the Venue Manager for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies (each attended by 52.000 spectators), guiding a team of 340 paid & volunteer staff.
- Expanded clientele by 26% by establishing a full range B.T.L. Services department, leading and supervising a team of 9 permanent and several project-based staff.
- Designed and deployed the Project Plan for Event Services, Crowd Management and F.O.H. - B.O.H. operations for attending customer groups (Spectators, VIPs, Media, others) across Venues and Common Domain of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (average daily attendance of 70.000).
- Secured ideal implementation of the Event Services across the Olympic Stadium’s event schedule: Opening & Closing Ceremonies, Athletics and Test events, leading a team of 160 Paid and 931 Volunteering staff throughout Olympic and Paralympic Games periods.
- Curated and delivered B.T.L. Promotion Plans, performed Project & Production Management for key accounts (Diageo, Imperial Tobacco, Coca Cola a.o.), introduced 4 project Formats for engagement activities.
- Delivered B.T.L. Commercial and Engagement projects for Agency’s clients (Algida, Wella, Eurobank, amongst others) while achieving a 52% clientele increase.
