MANUFACURING DIRECTOR IN BAKERY SECTION IN NGW COM..
RESPONSIBILITIES: follow the design for the production lines (croissant, cakes), contact the suppliers for the additional machineries, follow the installation and start up. Follow the NPD process accordingly, and the total operation of the factory. My duties also is the manufacturing cost.
Responsible for all the activities in the plant. Constructions, new machines, installation, commissioning, raw materials, personnel issues
Responsible for the installation of the quality control system in the two factories (Riyadh, Jeddah ), devices, procedures,
•Responsible for the quality assurance system in the plants
•In charge for the New Products Development according on the marketing requests.
Accountable for administration of factories in Lamia, Central Greece, Auditing and Functionality of nine Production Lines according to SAP system, development of new products and new production facilities. Strong experience in start=ups including experience with CHIPIMA.
•Managed productivity and efficiency of 540 employees; prepared Outcome and Cost Reports to the Group’s Head Board.
•Specialist in technologies relating to croissant, choco croissant, bake rolls, potato chips, snacks, crispy pops, creams, rusk.
•Achieved goals over consumptions, raw materials, labor over consumptions and auditing the plant through AIB, IFS, HACCP standards.
•As Production Manager accountable for structural actions in internal production assessment. Managed factory according to SAP system in terms of efficiency, quality, raw materials over consumption.
•Responsible for croissant, bake rolls and rusk production lines with 150 employees. Successfully managed the full start up of a new croissant line and a rusk line.
•Also responsible for planning the maintenance of the plant, having as a target to minimize the down times because of technical problems, reducing the cost of spare parts.
•Served as Project Manager of group’s Department of International Affairs, responsible for CHIPITA RUSSIA, CHIPITA ROMANIA, CHIPITA BULGARIA and CHIPIGA (J.V. CHIPITA-GAMEZA including start up new production lines, Technical and Production problem solving
•As Production manager of CHIPITA POLAND factory Unit planned and developed a new factory unit according to the Group’s policies and specifications.
•Created solutions for personnel’ productivity and efficiency, Production and Quality Auditing.
•HR, Technical and Raw materials Manager Unit B of Lamia’s plant in charge of recruitment, supplies coordination and auditing.
•Trained personnel and supervised outsourced education of employees.
