Cosmote S.A. is the leader mobile telephony operator, subsidiary of Greek Telecommunications Organization, having more than 500 retail stores, member of T-Mobile group, providing B2B and B2C solutions for mobile telephony, data transferring and utilization of information systems.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Creation of mobile phone devices and tablets portfolio for assigned brands / controlling 30% of OTE group sales and 12% of total Greek market.
Cooperation with vendors for new technologies exploration and break-through opportunities resulting to group competitive advantage.
Select market exclusivities and provide differentiation strategy proposals to market
Setting Merchandising Standards for retail stores.
Hold full responsibility for budget construction and revised budgeting, pricing, P&L, strategic planning and inventory control for owned brands for a turnover of €80m per year.
Working Experience in negotiating commercial agreements with major mobile phones manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, NOKIA, Sony-Ericsson, RIM, HTC and Apple for purchases in excess of €200 million per year.
The position reports to Commercial purchasing & Supply sub-director, having 3 direct reports, 32 owned stores and more than 400 indirect reports
The position requires close effective collaboration with Procurement, Customer Logistics, Project Management and Sales both domestically and for T-Mobile group.
Key Achievements:
Introduction of alternative promotional ways into retail stores, boosting sales by up to 400% for the selected devices increasing overall EBITDA from dedicated services (3G - 4G etc).
Reduction of mobile phones inventories by 45% leading to inventory level of 4 weeks on average (against former 14 weeks). Minimization of product line up by more than 50% focusing on profit generator devices (3G, 4G devices, smartphones etc) and dealing with SLOB products
Identification of niche markets as strategy differentiators and foundation of low cost segment for card phone purposes for all T-Mobile affiliates.
Sony Ericsson was the mobile phone manufacturer resulted from the joint venture of Sony corp. (JPN) and Ericsson communications (SWE).Greek Agent operated as B2B business, serving Greece and Balkans, occupied 26 persons, serving 120 accounts

A/R collection and coop handling
Support of Logistics operations for ordering releases, execution and delivery.
Budget controller and reporting for SEMC Greece
Key Achievements:
Credit Limit upgrade up to 500% supporting sales growth from 43.500 to 170.000 units / month in 4 years.
Full collection of A/R (100% collection)
Formation of benchmark Risk Analysis model for all hubs
Greece, occupying 85 employees and ranked as 16th among 80 companies in Greek Securities market.
