Role as a Financial Analyst -
o Carrying out work in dual role of Financial Analyst and Sr. Accountant
o Preparation of Business plans for clients
o Preparation of projections for clients
o Preparation of business valuation reports for clients
o Preparation of Financial Manuals for clients
o Preparation of other Analytical reports based on clients requirements
o Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
o Allocation of work and Co-ordination with team in producing deliverable to client
Role as a Senior Accountant -
o Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts for 5 companies
o Maintaining the day to day financial record and develop financial database for all the 5 companies.
o Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
o Preparation of invoices and follow-up with the clients for collection
o Preparation of weekly receivable and collections report with ageing analysis
o Preparation of Debtor/Creditors reconciliation
o Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
o Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
o Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
o Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
o Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
o Ensure accurate and timely month, quarter and year end close
o Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
o Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
o Prepare financial management reports
o Financial audit preparation and coordinate with the external auditors in the process of audit
o Preparation of offer letters and employment contracts as per Bahrain Labour Law
o Maintenance of employee data and preparation of monthly attendance report.
o Tracking the employee’s annual and sick leave and updating the same on database
o Preparation of monthly pay slips for employees
o Preparation of final settlements for employees on leaving organization
o Ensure provisions of Bahrain Labour Law are adhered by the company
o Creation of Assets and transferring the amounts from Floating account to respective Asset account.
o Inter Company Reconciliation.
o Calculation of Terminal Benefits and posting the entries for the same.
o Calculations and posting the entries for the Provisions, Prepaid and Terminal benefits.
o Intimating client about Refundable Deposits and Vendor balance confirmation.
o Vendor Reconciliations and GRIR clearance.
o Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements and Allocation of Costs to Jobs.
o Preparation of books of accounts and finalization of statements.
o Preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements for clients.
o Acquired wide knowledge in Internal Audit in Hindusthan Unilever Ltd. (HUL) as an Internal Auditor for a period of one and half year.
o Practical Experience in Tax Audit.
o Practical knowledge in Tax Planning (Income Tax, Service Tax, VAT, TDS, Excise, CENVAT).
o Participated in Statutory Audit (including Bank Audit).
o Participated in Vouching and Ledger Scrutiny.
o Preparation of audited results and reports.
o Consulting with clients and resolving their queries in Taxation and Accounts.
