Devising and implementing Quality Assurance programmes in compliance with company requirements.
Planning, maintenance & certification of Quality and Food Safety Management System(s) like ISO 9001 and 22k conducted by External Certifying Body.
Reviewing of weekly trends and feedback on product and service complaints, product rejections, audits, competitor activities and new product launches and provide resources and suggestions to meet the agreed service levels.
Undertaking overall responsibility of the Quality function within the Sales and Distribution of Dairy and Juices, Bakery, Poultry and Infant Formula to ensure that the products meets and exceeds the customer satisfaction.
Reviewing of the weekly plan along and targets with the core Departments of Sales, Merchandising and Logistics on Distribution efficiencies and targeted volumes, budget and market opportunities.
Reviewing of Divisional HACCP plans for distribution and storage to ascertain the compliance with standard.
Liaise with the Food Control and Border Control of different GCC states to resolve any issues that may come up during day to day operations.
Interfacing with Marketing, Sales & Product Development Team to identify and implement potential opportunities in the market in terms product and packaging enhancement and new products launch.
Acting as a Company representative to liaise with Regional and National Standardization Bodies within GCC like ESMA, SASO and GSO for any product or standard in dispute for a common agreement.
Identifying training needs and gaps of the Regional Staffs and preparing Training Modules in conjunction with Corporate Training Heads for Business Associates, shop floor members & new recruits.
