Key Result Areas:
•Involved in Commissioning and start-up of Instrumentation Systems such as Master Shutdown Panel, Well Head Control Panel, Multiphase Flow Meter and High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS), down whole pressure gauge and its detailed maintenance.
•Ensure uninterrupted high availability of the DCS and PLC systems by preventive maintenance & control system health checks of DCS and PLC safety systems installed at PLQP.
•In coordination with well completion team, installation and operation of high pressure safety systems such as Sub surface safety valves, Upper & lower master valves & Wing valves during well start-up activity.
•Installation, commissioning and maintenance of field choke valve for new wells.
•Operations and maintenance of instruments and F&G detectors of GTG.
•Responsible for implementing MOC’s and involving in modifying logics in Safety PLC and DCS systems.
•Knowledge on SAP.
•Instrument inventory and consumption spare management and ensure 100% availability of maintenance spares, and store maintenance.
•Supervise and organize routine, preventive and planned maintenance schedules considering availability of manpower, tools and tackles.
•Troubleshooting and maintenance of Siemens PLC (S7), AB and HIPPS HIMA PLC.
•Strong Knowledge on HART, Foundation Field bus & Modbus TCP/IP Communication Protocols.
•Periodic maintenance, calibration and Functionality checks of Transmitters, switches, control valves, On/Off valves and analysers.
•Ensure Maximum Fire and Gas Detection devices availability, maintenance and calibration as per safety standards.
•Execute Instrument maintenance activities on the offshore facilities and fully comply with HSE management system like PTW system, JSA, Tool box talks, Safety Override Management System, and maintaining proper records for the same.
•Support the production team during Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire Shutdown (FSD) by identifying the root cause and take remedial action to restore the plant within stipulated time.
•Periodic maintenance of Novec 1230 Clean agent system and CO2 flooding system.
•Installation, commissioning and start-up of field instruments in packages, loop checks, logic and functionality checks as per process requirement.
•Troubleshooting of transmitters, valves and analysers, other field instruments and DCS/PLC systems on demand and revive normal operations.
•Troubleshooting and online maintenance of Field mounted and building fire and gas devices like IR/UV flame detectors, HC/H2S/H2 Gas detectors, Smoke/Heat detectors, manual alarm call points, enclosure sensors etc. without process disturbance.
•Preparation and up keeping of Audit documentation, calibration certificates, Failure and improvement analysis reports.
•Contributed to plant and personnel safety upgrade, Hazard observations, system enhancement modifications.
